My biggest take-aways:
• Bring a paper copy of the P4 email with you. My fiancée’s name wasn’t on the list as having an interview that day and having that printout was the only reason why we were not turned away.
• If the beneficiary has long hair, please read the passport photo instructions closely, and make sure that his/her ears are visible in the photo.
• Bring cash, just in case. $5 bills, $1 bills, or “moneda.†There’s a machine for passport photos that accepts bills, and there’s also a vending machine. The Security Guards there are very nice and helpful, but they don’t always have change.
• Organize your documents in the manner that they request you to do so in the P4 email. If you can find an “accordion style†folder with the tabs, that is very helpful.
• Bring a book, magazine, or a sketchpad. They donâ€... read complete review

We arrived about 30 mins early. When we arrived the men at the entry gate told us to wait there. There was a large group of us waiting outside there in front of the gate until we could enter, about 45 mins. Finally, when they allowed us to enter we walked up a hill to the buildings above. There we passed through security and were not allowed to bring anything besides the binders we had for the interview. Don’t bring the medical cd, you can’t bring it in. Then we entered in another building and were told to take a number. We waited about 20 mins until our number was called. We went to the window and the woman asked for all of our paperwork. We turned in everything that we were told to bring in the email from the embassy. Then we were told to sit down and wait for the beneficiary’s name to be called. We waited about 20 mins and when they called his name we both went to the window, however they told me, the petitioner, that the interview would only be with the benefi... read complete review

The issued of my visa was delayed because the medical results was not in the embassy the day of my interview. There is only two officially doctors in the city, then is difficult to get an medical appointment with enough time before the interview. The interview was simple and fast.

Overall, the experience was fantastic!
When you arrive, try to get there early as you have to stop at a security checkpoint at the bottom of the hill to give the guards your information before they even let you on the property. We got there about 30 minutes before the 1pm scheduled time and we were allowed in with a group of other people. Leave your cell phones in the car or leave them with the security guards at the second checkpoint.
We were in the waiting room for about 30 minutes (much like the MVA/DMV in the United States where they call your number) before it was our turn. The first time you are called is to get your information in order, but it is not the actual interview. After this part, I went to the bathroom quickly and cam out to realize my fiancée had started the interview already. I approached the window and asked the gentleman if I could be there for the process and he said "no, you have to sit down" to which I complied.
