Details about my wife's interview from last night:
She left hotel at 6:00 am with her father. After depositing her personal items at the convention center which is few blocks away from the embassy I think, then she took the embassy shuttle to get there. It was raining the whole time. Finally after waiting in line outside in the rain, they started to let people in and she was in the embassy by 7:50am.
At the entrance the first thing they did was took her fingerprints, the guy looked at my wife and told her to relax as he said to her that everybody is getting approved today so don't worry, he was trying to make her feel relax, I think. (No fees charged for fingerprints).
Then he took her interview letter from her and told her to go sit and wait till her name is called.
Then at counter 5 she was called by her name. The guy at this counter was a different guy. He took her passport and told her to go sit and wait ... read complete review

My interview was today early in the morning, it was a rainy day in ISL.i reached at diplomatic shuttle service 07 o clock, i entered in the embassy at 7.30 and after fingerprinting done, i submitted my original police certificate, medical and my passport. Then i was called for final interview and it was too short and brief just for two minutes,he asked me do you have old passport actually the reason was behind this question , before me there was a person who lied about his earlier passport and he time and again asked about his previous passport, next he said have you travelled ouside pakistan then he see marriage pictures and then it was over.gave me green slip and said we need some office work to be done , and atlast the routine sentence for me all the case is ok but AP.At the end there was problem about my Netherland police certificate, bcz NVC told me that the petitioner need not to submit from Netherlands the appointment psot will get directly from the Authority in holland.but at the ... read complete review

I went to the the shuttle service at 6:30 paid 500 for the ticket and deposit cell phone there .my interview was at 8:00 AM so i have to wait for a while.at 7:15 we boarded a bus and reached consulate .there was two line there one for the immigrant visa and other for the non immigrant visa .Before entering I had to go through security checking. then i enter in a room where they took my finger prints, then i went to other room in which lot of ppl sitting and waiting for their name to be called for the interview. i was called at the window where a local guy took my passport and signed a form.after few minutes they again called my name and ask for the visa fee 350$(it is recommended that every 1 should pay their fee in dollars because of problem conversion rate).after 10 minutes an American guy at the window called my name he asked me how r u and asked questions like how we met? vhen she visited here when we got engaged? how many ppl were at the ingagment party ? asked for the in pictures ... read complete review

All in all it was a good interview experience. The CO was very very friendly and she only asked me 3 questions. Took me only 2 minutes for the interview to be completed. I was there for a total of about 3 hours. Didn't receive any AP!! which was a true miracle as almost 99 percent of males receive AP but I was lucky enough to be spared. The only thing to remember is to bring a lot of proof just in case, be confident, and always hope for the best. Good luck!
