I accompanied my fiancee to her interview along with my mom. My mom was told to wait outside the embassy but we were allowed to take her passport in as evidence that she showed up. We waited for about 4 hours until the CO in window 8 finally called us.
The CO was a very nice guy. When me and my fiancee both gave him our passports He looked at me and asked if I was the petitioner I respectfully said yes and he said that he had no problem in me standing next to my fiancee but has made it clear to me to not answer any of her questions till he asks me to verify the it in case he has any doubts. We then mentioned that my mom came here for moral support but was told to wait outside. He became very surprise and mentioned how nice my mom was to come all the way over here. He then asked my fiancee the following questions..
How did you meet your fiance?
When did your fiance proposed to you?
Why did your fiance add your sister on Facebook?
I... read complete review

It was a very pleasant experience. The interview was scheduled for 8 am. My wife arrived at the embassy at around 7:50 ish. They called her at the first window asked for her Medical reports and passport gave her a token. The guy asked where she wants her passport to be mailed.
She was then asked to wait until someone calls. After about 20 min she was called at another window. The guy there took the interview. He gave her all the documents back but held on to the pictures until the interview was over. Following the questions he asked:
Who is the sponsor?
Who is your husband?
What does he do? Where does he live? Who does he live with?
Where do his parents live? How many siblings does he have?
Where do the siblings live?
When did you get married? Was it arranged?
Who arranged the marriage?
Where are you from in Pakistan? Where do you live?
Have you ever traveled abroad?
Then he pulled out the pictures I submitted... read complete review

My Husband had his interview on October 6, 2011. I got to attend the interview with him. We were about an hour late, arrived at 9:30 but it didnt make a difference. My husband got his fingerprinting done then we waited in the outside waiting hall. then they called his name and a female CO asked for the medical exam results and passport, then we went and sat in the waiting hall again. we were the last people in the embassy when my husband was called for his interview at 2pm. The CO was nice old man who asked what i did in america, if we had a love marriage or arranged marriage, how many brothers/sisters did my husband have, and if my husband had visited any other countries. he then asked to see photographs of our wedding and skimmed through those and pointed at random people in the pictures and asked my husband who they were. After the interview the CO took out a green sheet and my heart dropped because I knew he was being put on AP. The CO said it could take anywhere from 1 month to 5... read complete review

so i was at the embassy at 6:00 and the speedex lounge was full of ppl..but they were all too tired to form a line at the counter...thus I was very ahead in line...also since i was only carrying my documents...no purse..no electronics ...I went through the security check easily and boarded the shuttle first..took the first seat so that I could get off easily...then after 10-15 mins got off...I was the first person again in the embassy-immigrant line...I went in ...security check was again quickly done..it was 7:15 and I sat in the waiting room ..then had my finger printing done..here they also match you with the photograph u had submitted...
then I went to another waiting room ..waited for some time then submitted my documents...medical report, passport, tax return, police certificate...the man at the counter returned some extra/additional documents...(not the originals that i had submitted)...
