So the wife went in at 8am as the interview letter advised. She didn’t get called til 12p. She took the oath and was asked if she wanted to do it in English or Urdu. She said English and confirmed when asked again. Officer asked how was she introduced to me and how long have my family been here in states. He also asked her about my employment here as to who do I work for. Then he asked for the police certificate which she had the copy of. Then He asked for the pics. She had taken the album so he went through and asked if it was the continental hotel in Lahore. He liked the pics and returned the album and copy of police certificate and said this, “we have discussed your case and decided to approve it. You can pick up your passport in 5-10 business days.

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. My interview experience (Alhumdulilah) has been really good at the Islamabad US Embassy. I am the beneficiary (female) and had my interview at 11 Jul 2013. My interview timings as per the letter were 8:00 am therefore I reached the embassy around 7:30 am. Went through long queue for Biometrics and around 9:30 am I was in the waiting room, waiting for my interview call. Around 10:30 was called up for interview. The interviewer was an American lady who asked me the following questions.
1. Please show me your wedding photos?
2. Was your marriage love or arranged?
3. How did you know your husbands family?
and that was it! She said my case looked perfect and she has approved my visa. Would receive my passport with in two weeks via American Express :D
Which by the way didnt happen to be two weeks. I received my passport the next day i.e. on 12 Jul 2013 :D wooohooo at their speed!!
I wish all of you best of luck and May... read complete review
