The interview day was stressful, lots of time spent waiting for our turn. Been to Islamabad Embassy twice (for my own case a few years back and then for my spouse's case in July), both times the experience was great. Simple questions asked like many others shared already on the forum. The bottom line is, be well prepared, double-check your papers, make sure to carry and upload current tax transcripts, affidavit of support & supporting evidence from the sponsor, know why you're there and be clear about your purpose (no if's and but's), it is your responsibility to prove your intent/purpose and provide the necessary supporting evidence to claim any kind of eligibility or privilege.
Above all BE HONEST, you can't lie to them. They know more than your mother knows about you

Hi I had my interview on 23 sep 19. Everything went well. The CO was very convinced with my answers and my docs. Now I was hoping he will say at the end congtulations u got the visa. But he said ur interview is done u don't have to come again. Ur passport is with me. U just have to upload this one single document (my husbands most recent tax transcript) on ceac and u are good to go . He handed over to me form 221g. I have uploaded my husbands tax transcript on 25 sep. Now how much time they will take? Any time frame? Someone who went thru the same situation?

Hi guys,
So basically my Spouse visa interview was on the 26th at 730AM. You goto the shuttle place at like 6.get on and get to the embassy. My wife (petitioner) was with me. This is her 4th trip to Pakistan in a year and she has spent a combined of like 8.5 months here on and off over a 16 month periods since we got married. So I am very lucky her job is such that it allows her this freedom. Anyway, so usual stuff at the interview. They ask for all the documents at two different windows. I would definitely advise take your official IRS Tax Transcript with you. For the last 3 years. Even if you are not asked on NVC u havveee to take this document. Its easily available on the IRS website. So I submitted all the docs. They made us wait around 3 hrs for our turn. They called our token number. We went to the window together and then then told my wife that she can sit and they would be asking me a few questions. She sat close by so that she could hear...

There is no one here that will guarantee a fair interview or even a reason if they choose to deny. Best advice is to have legal representation when you walk through their doors. Without it, you can expect Islamabad will do "whatever" they want. No one is going to question them... I can promise.

Had my interview in the last week of August. After biometrics, i had to submit my original documents at another interview which included Nikkahnama, Nikkahnama translation, marriage certificate, birth certificate and passport. Then the lady at the window asked me if i had brought any transcripts with me which i did but hadn't uploaded it on CEAC along with the other documents as it was just an optional document. Later when my turn came for the interview, the CO asked me these questions,
Who's calling you?
Where are you from?
What's your husband's name?
Is this you guys' first marriage?
How did you get to know each other?
Who's smarter? You or him?
Which side of the bed does he sleep?
What's the size of his bed?
What kind of mattress does he have?
Do you have any kids?
What has he studied?
What kind of car does he have?
Have you travelled outside of Pakistan?
Have you ever travelled... read complete review
