Here is my visa experience. I had an interview on may 1st. I drove to the convention center with my uncle and arrived at convention center at 7:00 am. If you don’t know someone in Islamabad than it is better to know earlier the location of convention center.there were hundreds of people waiting for bus ticket. Try to come as early as possible. most of the people arrived at convention center before 6:00 am. i waited in line for half hour to get a bus ticket. it cost Rs. 40/-. on ticket counter, the ticket salesman asked my appointment letter and saw my passport. i got the bus ticket and went to another counter and submitted my bag. i took all my documents and proves from the bag. you are not allowed to take your bags and mobiles to the embassy. it was embarrassing. Well than I went to the bus stop and waited another half hour and then boarded a bus to the embassy. I arrived at the embassy around 8:00 am. A very strict security. when my husband went for his interview it wasnt so bad everything was done on time he was out of the embassy by 11:00am. This time I went with my husband to pick up his visa from the consulate did not have a pleasant expierence. They were very rude to me expecially. we were at the embassy from 7:00am - 3:00pm during that time they did not say how long it would take. One person infact asked my husband, after he submitted the email, what brings you to the embassy today. I would just say they are all stuck up jerks working at a American embassy.

First thing she did was FINGERPRINT.
Here are the questions they asked my Fiance:
Pakistani Visa Officer asked the following:
How did you meet your Fiance?
Were you ever involved with Terrorist organization?
30-minutes later a US (White) Visa Office asked the following:
What does your Fiance do for work?
What does his compnay do?
What University did your Fiance go to?
What did your Fiance study?
What has your Fiance told you about NC?
Then a lady gave my Fiance a BLUE Slip and told her Congratulations, you have received your Visa but it will take a MAXIMUM of 6 Weeks to complete "SOMETHING", my fiance doesn't remember exactly but I'm sure its a background search of some sort. She said the AMEX will call you in about 6 weeks to let you know that you need to mail your passport back to the Embassy.
