Review Topic: K3 Visa

My wife had her interview today. Alhamdulilah everything went well. She was asked a total of three questions. Husband's name, what does he do and wedding pics. She was told that she will get her passport in 2-3 weeks.

Best of luck,
Bilal

I'm sure you all already know enough about the procedure to get on the DSS service by now...it doesn't change much for interviewers. Just a really nice lounge...free refreshments and some waiting for your number to be called. The only difference with our experience was that 5 minutes after we came in and sat down in the lounge...the electricity went out..and what surprised me the most is that they had no generators whatsoever....so the light was gone...and pretty much stayed that way until we got on the shuttle and reached the embassy. So, no need to go into more detail about the DSS service IMO...

After arriving at the embassy we waited to be called to get in line outside to cross the street. First they called all of the people that had non-immigrant visas. Then we were first in line for immigrant visas. So the guard checked my husbands interview lette... read complete review

Very Quick! Did not see any pictures or proofs. Just asked if She was carrying proofs for not. Asked Questions on where is Spouse working currently in U.S. and If spouse was going to settle long term or short term? And Visa was Approved! ... Received Passport in 5 days After the interview.

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My wife had IR-1 visa interview this morning (10/20/2009) and it got approved without AP/AR.
Here are some details:
My wife, two kids and my self were at the diplomatic shuttle transport service center (DSTS) around 7:00am. We took the token number for issuing shuttle tickets and waited in the waiting room for about 30 min or so. We bought the bus tickets for PK RS 500 each and proceeded to the shuttle after our number had been called.
We were in the embassy around 8:00am after security checks.
I went with my wife for the interview but did not go with her to the interview window as I was taking care of my two kids in the waiting room. Also I have seen in many cases CO have asked petitioner to wait in the waiting room and not be with their spouses during interview process.
First, my wife gone through finger printing process, then turn in her passport to another window, third time they called my wife's name for medical reports and finally fourth time ... read complete review
