interview process was easy and went smoothly. My fiancee left home around 5:30am and was able to get inside for her 8am interview. Only thing was waited a little inside but otherwise everything else went smooth.... I just want to state one thing that nobody mentioned here before but i think it's a big help...
please remember to tell your fiancee to take the issue letter that comes with your passport. My fiancee has an Afghan passport but these come with a letter of acceptance from pakistani police. They will check for this before letting u board the bus and my fiancee didn't have this but thankfully she had a copy of her police cert for the case and she showed them that.

As for interview itself .. she interviewed with a very friendly american guy.
He was friendly and joking and asked a series of questions mainly
dealing with how we met, how i proposed to her, what are her plans for
life here in USA, how old I am and if the age difference both... read complete review

Review Topic: Other Experience

Our case was F4 and the interview was scheduled at American Embassy Islamabad in beginning of March, so we flew to Islamabad a day before the interview, and headed for the interview early in the morning at about 5:50 AM just after offering Fajr prayers and reached at the DSS service center by 7 AM, here we had to wait for about 30 minutes, then we bought the tickets of the bus after showing off the passport and interview letter, the tickets were a bit expensive as Rupees 500 for each family member, Diplomatic Shuttle Service center (DSS) is located at the road going out of Islamabad to Bara Kahu/Murree, one have to find Sareena Hotel in Islamabad as the way to DSS is near to this hotel, DSS is a huge single storey building containing a big comfortable waiting room and a large waiting hall, several wash rooms, general stores/bakery and restaurants with reasonable rates, few fax and photocopy shops are also there inside the DSS, it is advisable not to bring large bags with you as secur... read complete review

Fiancee arrived by 8 a.m., but eventually waited for nearly 3 hours for her actual interview. Was only asked about 3 or 4 questions and lasted no more then 5 minutes. Since we had submitted pictures of your engagement, the American Male officer did not request any other ongoing relationship proof. The strangest question was "will you marry someone else when you get to the states?" After answering this, obviously no, he said I'm giving you the visa. My fiancee wanted to make sure that is indeed the case, and asked at least 2 or 3 times. Each time he said, yes, I'm giving you the visa. At this point, it seemed to the officer that he needed to call a translator but my fiancee said, "I understand you're giving me the visa, no need for a translator!" They said visa will be sent in 5 to 10 days.

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Husband reported that he had a great experience....he was there early to catch the bus and was up for interview right at 9 a.m. The interviewer was very friendly, asked him a few questions and then handed him a green slip of paper. They told him he's approved, kept his passport, handed back all original documents and said the wait for passport delivery would be 2 to 6 weeks.

Review Topic: K1 Visa

I had my K1 visa interview today. I srrived at shuttle service at 6.30 and after all the formalities reached us embassy at 7.30. after security checks i went to the room for finger prints, gone through it easily. then i was told to sit in a waiting room till i was called for interview. In the waiting room there were two sections. One for Immigrant Visas and other for Non-Immigrant visas. My name was called and a Pakistani Lady asked for my passport and Birth Certificate and gave me a Pink token and she told me if visa is approved this token will help me get my passport. Then at another counter I paid fee. One thing i would like to mention Please take the exact change with you otherwise this can create problem. Take lots of Change with you After that i waited for 15 mins then an American lady called me name. I took my interview in English. Here are the questions she asked:

1. How did we met?
2. What does my Fiancee do for work?
3. whats ... read complete review
