I arrived at d embassy around 6:00 a.m, we were screened and asked to queue up to enter d consulate. We went through another series of screening, then we were given a number and seated.
When my number was called I was asked to submit d necessary documents, DS-160, police report, medical, birth certificate, my fiance's birth cert and passport info page, affidavit of support, statement of account and tax statement.
I went back to my seat and waited to be called for d interview. Was called an hour later and d interview went:
Who petitioned for you?
How did u meet?
How many times has he been to nigeria since u met him and how long did he stay on each visit?
When did he propose?
Was there an engagement ceremony?
Did he pay any dowry?
Where does ur fiance live in d U.S?
What does he do?
Has he met your parents? And when?
How do u communicate?
How often do u communicate on phone?
When was... read complete review

I will like to say thank you to all VJ members for your posts, comments and assistance from the beginning of this K1 process.
We agreed to move our vacation days to the month of October simply because of the K1 visa interview although we knew she would not be allowed in but it was a nice feeling and confidence for me during the interview. So we practiced questions from Lagos consulate reviews and that's all.
My Interview was scheduled for 7.am but we arrived on time. I went through the normal scrutiny of documents at the entrance and inside.
There were 4 CO for the immigrants; two black American ladies (Nice even when they refuse people, one nice white lady (smiling all the time and granting people visa not all but most) and one old white guy (trust me you don't want to be interviewed by him. This old white guy didn't interview a lot of people but about 3 people he interviewed were denied and frowned his face all the time, i started praying... read complete review

Unfortunately this is a secondhand review however, I will try to be as accurate as possible.
My fiancé went to the interview and said the questions were quite few. He was interviewed by an African-American lady. The questions were brief:
What is the name of your fiancée? RCTN
How did you guys meet? Met through her friend whose daughter was my niece's best friend...it's complicated (and it is...LOL)
When did you meet her? We met in London
Oh, you lived in London? Yes went there for my higher education
Has she met your family? Yes and he showed pics we took when I visited him and his family in Aug.
Ok, you're approved. Collect your passport in 5 working days. Yay!
In our original I-129 application, we included practically "everything in the kitchen sink" to ensure there is no iota of doubt about the legitimacy of our relationship.
So flight plans in tow and the next phase of our lives ahead!

First I would like us to encourage ourselves with trusting and putting the faith unto the lord...
My interview was scheduled for 10am...arrived one hour before time...there was less cue of immigrants...I think we were about 15 or so...we were finally called in @ 9.30am...
Went through the normal scrutiny of documents...entered and was giving ma number...there were 4 CO interviewing immigrants....
There was this white man who kept denying everybody including visa lottery people...I was scared, really scared...I prayed to God he shouldn't be the one to interview me...buh that spirit kept telling me I shouldn't even worry about any CO's that I'm def getting approved...I kept singing praises to the lord just to gain more confidence....God is good....
Finally I was called, the CO I was scared about....he looked me in the eye ask to say after him...I did all that....he tried confusing me by saying the wrong name of my wife....I corr... read complete review
