Since I depended greatly on this website and relaying of information of the interviews, I decided to write as well to hopefully encourage and help others with upcoming interviews. My fiance had his interview in Lagos yesterday and was approved! We were extremely prepared for what he took with him and probably not even 1/4 of it was looked at or asked for but still go prepared-you never know what they will or will not request to see. He insisted on arriving at 4:30am (his interview was scheduled at 7) and it ended up being a good thing because he was able to compare with other interviewees and he realized he (we) had forgot that the 4 passport photos needed to have a white background. He was able to rush and get them and be back in plenty of time. They went through security around 6am (phone is taken) and he was interviewed by around 9am. Before the interview they asked to see my affidavit of support which he said they briefly looked at and the interview itself was easy and short. He to... read complete review

I said no, he asked why and I told him cos I dont know how to print dem ) he dint even request to see any evidence from me altho they asked from some people there. He also returned the pics my wife sent to nvc n told me have been approved

Hello Everyone,
I never write here I just read all of the encouraging information that is shared. Right now, though, I am in desperate need of some help. My fiance has an interview soon and we are just trying to round up all of the information right now. The Lagos Consulate ask me to fill a I-864 form along with the I-134. My mom will be my joint sponsor, but on all of her Tax records she has filed "head of household" but she is married. Since she files "head of household" on her taxes should her husband do a form too? It doesn't say she is married anywhere on her 1040 form. I'm sorry it's just that I really do not want her husband in my business he is one of those types of people that will manipulate me about it and hold it over my head forever!! I would rather keep him out of it. Also does your joint sponsor have to live in your household in order to do the I-864 or can it be someone that doesn't live in your household? My Aunt says she doesn't mind being a Joint Spons... read complete review

My husband went for interview today. He was not denied, but also not approved or put into AP. Odd situation. They asked where I worked and where he would be living and asked for pictures. They said everything looked good. However, we now need a co-sponsor. I was not told earlier there was a problem with that. I thought everything was good with the finances. They asked him to resubmit the AOS but bring it to a location in Lagos, and then they will give the visa. I'm a little confused about it but thankful it will be complete soon.
