Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

We are not approved yet but surely they will. My first and foremost advice is that you have your evidence like pictures and communications sent during USCIS OR NVC stage.
During our (My husband) interview, he was asked these following questions
Who is the petitioner
Have you been to the US
When last we met
How many times have you been to Nigeria
When last he saw my parent (Because my parents just came back from the US I GUESS)

We are still at AP now because the Consular need to go check our facebook i guess. because hubby told me she asked for his facebook name and also kept all our chat communications.
I hope this review will be helpful. so also before our interview i read someone review about remembering to print Ds260 confirmation page so please dont forget that. UPDATE your facebook page and make it public that is my advice. please please say a prayer for us.
Good luck

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Yay... All glory to God Almighty, I got my Visa approved. I'm so sorry for written this late.
It was all a good and simple interview. Well my visa interview was January 15th 2016 and my interview time was 7:00am but I got to the Embassy at about 5:40am and there wasn't any queue yet but few minutes later we were asked to queue and on one side is immigrant and on the other side is for non-immigrant. We were asked to bring out our int'l passport, letter of invitation, DS260 confirmation page and then the medical result and it should be opened, after which all of this was checked by the security officer and we were asked to go inside were we meet with some security officers and all of my documents were checked and I was screened and I was told to go straight after which I met with another officers that asked for my letter of invitation which I handed to them and my name was cross-cheked in a paper and when they got my name I was given a white paper to filling in my details and a s... read complete review

Wow... I made it! Visa granted! Actually interview was on 14th January, so sorry guys details is coming later (preggers things).
Hubby came in on 13th to join me. we woke up exactly 4:30am on Thursday morning having set an alarm. Drove off at 5:45am and got to the embassy 6:45am.
I quickly came down from the car while hubby was still looking for a place to park. There we the rolls, I knew one would be for immigrants and the other non-immigrant. I asked which was for immigrants and swapped.
We were asked to bring out our Int'l passport, interview letter and then medical report envelop should be open.
After this, I was allowed to go into a hall were documents were checked and then transferred to another section in same hall where the interview letter will be submitted. After submitting my interview letter, my name was cross checked on the list they had with them and then ticked. An entry pass was given to me. This pass allows for entry into the embassy where... read complete review

Review Topic: F-2A Visa

My visa was granted yesterday (15th Jan 2015) at the Lagos embassy. I really appreciate the contributions of VJ members. Your posts helped a lot in my preparation for the interview. Here are some of the questions asked (I was interviewed by a white male CO).
How & where did I meet my spouse?
When did we became involved?
How did I propose?
When/where did our wedding take place (at this point, he requested for wedding photos)?
Asked the type of wedding we did?
Asked how long we stayed together before she travelled?
Asked when our child was born?
Asked about her last visit and also requested a picture of it
Asked what my wife does in US and where she lived
Asked if she mentioned anything about the city she lives?
Then he approved the visa and said I should pick it up in 2weeks.
The interview was quite interactive.

An important thing to note is that it's very necessary to prepare all eviden... read complete review
