Review Topic: F-2A Visa

My Interview was for 6:30 am, I got to the Embassy by 5:23am. By past 6am, we were told to be on the queue according to the visa category(Immigrant and Non-Immigrant). People with 6;30am were told to file in, all medical results opened as they don't want anything sealed taken in. After the first security check, we filed to a table where the Interview were confirmed and a number was written on the form( I later got to know that that is the number I will be called with for the Interview). We were given a form to fill( please fill as you proceed to the main Embassy section as you will need to drop at the first point when finally in the Embassy building) On another queue, we were passed till we got into the second security check. Where you put off your belts and wrist watch, and your things and yourself get scanned. Once through this step, you proceed to the main building, file under the Immigrant section. On the queue there, you wait till the next person in line is called to the next avai... read complete review

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

I am happy to be writing that my husband was approved for his CR-1 visa early this morning. His account to me was as follows:

He arrived around 5am for his 6:30am scheduled appointment. The people at the door would not let him (or anyone else) in until 6:30am, so he went back to wait in his car until 6:30am. Around 6:30am they let him inside and did their initial security scanning. They told him to go back outside to open his medical results and then collected that and his police clearance upon entrance. He was about the 10th person in the door. Once inside he sat waiting for about 45 minutes before being called to the window. He was asked very few questions by the CO.

1) Who is calling you in the U.S.?
2) Where did you meet?
3) What was your wife doing there?
4) What were you doing there?

And then the rest of the interview the CO focused on a letter we got from President Obama wishing us good luck in our marriage.

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

From what my husband told me of the interview....

He got there plenty early and was standing in queue....
everyone was starting to enter the building...
he went in and hadnt opened his medicals....
they did a security check and told him to go back outside to open his medicals and get in line again so he went outside and tried to confirm with another security guard that he was suppose to open the medicals....
he stated he wasnt allowed to a couple years ago when he went for K-1 visa interview...
the security guard told him no need to ask him to do what he was told and get back in line.....
and pointed to the longest queue which was the non immigrant line....
they then were allowed to enter and rechecked him and gave them each a number...
they finally got a form to fill out while they were waiting...
finally they were told to go to the main building remove there belts and belongings and went thru the xray ma... read complete review

Review Topic: K1 Visa

Interview was 4/14/16

We arrived at 5 am. We had everything in order because of VJ! They tried to convince us we needed a color copy of our data page (wrong! out.. N1000)

I (fiancee) stood outside in car park because we are not allowed into the interview. I prophesied that he would be interviewed by a woman and helped by two! We laugh. Happened!
