Appointment was scheduled for 6:30 AM. Got to the embassy at 5:40. Doors opened at 6:00. Asked to see confirmation page and passport, then got a number. Waited to be called up, which didn't take long. Asked a few questions. How did you two meet? Have you seen each other and when last? Asked for the affidavit of support and supporting documents. After a few minutes, brought out a white paper and circled something. Handed over the paper and said congratulations, pick up your passport in ten working days. (But it was available in two days)

To God be ALL the glory!!
I will tell the review according to what my husband shared with me, as I did not attend the interview. He arrived at the Lagos Embassy at 6:00 am. His interview appointment was set for 6:45 am on 9/14/16. He queued up after a few hours of waiting in the lobby with others. We made sure to front load with plenty of pictures, phone records, etc. All of which they did not even ask for, but it is better to be safe than sorry! My husband said there was a man and a woman CO. The man seemed to be granting visas left and right and those who got the woman were being turned away for one reason or another. My husband hoped he would get the man but he got the woman! The questions went as followed:
Who called you to the United States? My wife and he said my full name
How did you meet? answered
Was she married before? answered
When was her divorce final? answered
She then pulled a pape... read complete review

My interview review
I got to the US embassy at lagos Nigeria @ 6:15am for my interview for 7:30am. I immediately asked for the immigrants queue and joined. At around 7:15am I was passed through the 1st security check and went in to sit down. Then about 9:10am, I was given a tally number and passed through another security checks to enter into the main embassy hall. I joined another queue and about 10:10am I was called to the window to submit all my original documents and (police certificate, birth certificate, passport, photography and photocopy) and then sat for the CO to call my number. While sitting down I started to observe my surrounding, there were 3 CO for immigrants (1 male and 2 female) one of the female was really tough and I prayed to God I'm not called to her window. Anyway I was called to the window by the other nice female, great relief.
Co: oath bla bla
Me: yes
Co: who is calling you?
Me: my mother
Co: what does she do

God did it!!! so i had my 6:30am interview. i got through security and then to documentations. i was given a number and called almost immediately. my interview lasted for about 5 minutes. The CO was a female. Questions asked where:
When and where did you meet?
When did you engage her?
When did you start dating?
Is she divorced?
Then the CO gave me two white papers. one was for picking up my approved visa the other was for immigrant fee.
I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone for information shared here. it really helped.
for those preparing for interview; just be calm, honest and confident. also be well organised in terms of paperwork. Godspeed!!!
