My husband got to the embassy around 5:30 got in line waited. The lady was calling numbers and some people were not understanding her so my husband took it upon himself to help others understand. She saw him doing this and gave him a thumbs up. He was praying that he get her as an interviewer. God is good. She ended up being the one to interview him. She asked the following questions:
1. How did you meet? FB
2.How you met on FB how you find her? She came up on my as someone I might know. (We had mutual friends
I gave the answer to the two questions above so you all will know they will ask this if you met on FB)
3. Are either of you been divorced?
4. Do you have any kids
5. Do you have pictures
6. Asked about the people in the pictures
7 asked to see witnesses to marriage
8. Which picture is his favorite
Then said you are approved!!!

My Lagos interview was pretty fast. Apart from all the security searchers before the main interview tho.
I was asked the following questions.
1. Who is calling me to the USA.
2. When and where did I meet my spouse.
3. What does my spouse do for a living.
4. How many times has my spouse visited Nigeria.
The female consular office asked me to show her my favorite wedding pictures, she then told me I was approved and where to pick up my visa.
Was a very friendly, fast and short interview. I got to the embassy at about 5.40am and met loads of people there already waiting. My appointment was for 6.45 so I just followed the que for security checks.
And just to help others who live close to Abuja or Abuja. You can now do your medical in Abuja Nigeria at Migration for Health at wuse 2 Abuja. You don't have to travel like the way to Lagos for your medicals before interview.... read complete review

So, husband arrived about 5:30 for a 6:30 interview. No need to explain the security and check in process, it is the same as others. He said after waiting about 30 minutes he was called and greeted by a nice lady. I made sure to tell him to greet her back with good morning and to ask how is she doing to set a good tone for interview. He let me know that no question was asked that he didnt know and we had went over. Who’s inviting you? How did you meet? Ok How did you start talking? When did you get married ? How many times has she visited? What do you guys do when she’s around? Where does she work? What’s her position? Does she have a daughter? How old is she? Do you talk to her daughter? What type of ceremony and do you have pictures? She then told him, ok Approved!!! Explained to him how to pick up visa and pay immigrant fee. So happy he will be home for Christmas.
