I did a lot of online research and saw online that some people took care of a lot of things before the receiving their packet answer that is what I did. We decided not to wait for NVC and took care of the medical exam, police report and even paid the visa fee and set up interview before the case got to the embassy. I did some calculations based on their usual responses off someone else’s timeline that matched the beneficiary’s country and it’s worked in my favor. Case was received by the embassy and we already have all the documents ready, now we are just waiting for his interview date.

Overall, the interview was ok. My husband (fiancee at the time) was not approved for visa. He was interviewed twice. At the first interview, he was asked basic questions.. who petition you, how did we met, etc as well as he was asked to explain about previous visitor visa applications. Hubby confessed that he used touts for previous applications and knew that some info were not correct. So he was asked to return within a week with me. At second interview, we were placed in a side room to chat with some local workers. The questions were still basic and focused on hubby previous marriage. The vibe between my hubby and the interviewee was not good. The interviewee kept playing like a twisted mind game by accusing my hubby just so that my hubby will errupted and not focused. Anyway after 20 mins, hubby was called to speak to CO (white american). CO stated the petition will be sent back to US. The interwee told the CO that my hubby previous marriage divorce was not valid.
Even thoug... read complete review

My visa was approved this morning... I was asked the following questions;
Tell me the name of your wife
When did you meet her
When did you start dating
Why took so long to start a relationship because I told him I knew my wife 17 years ago
What does she do
Where does she stay
How does she spend her weekend
What is the color of her car/model and if she rented or owned the apartment
Her best friend name and where she stays
What i have gone to do in the other country have travelled to
My M.sc course and grade
Then the magic word... Your visa is approved....
Special Thanks to Almighty God and VJ people ....

Hello everyone! I just want to say that today hubby had his interview and was approved! God is so amazing!!!! We are both so very grateful for the kindness of everyone here on VJ going through the same process. We appreciate you and this website immensely!
So, here is a list of the particulars from his interview. He was interviewed by the Korean guy, and the questions were not necessarily asked in this order:
*Who is calling for you?
*What is her job?
*What house does she live in?
*How many times has she divorced?
*Does she have a son?
* What school does her son attend?
*Is your wife a graduate?
*What was her course work (major)?
*What school did she attend?
*What year did she graduate?
*When did you two meet?
*Has she visited?
* How many times has she visited?
And then.......he waited a moment, shuffled some papers and said your visa is approved!
