First of, I’ll like to seize this moment to thank everyone who have directly or indirectly guided me through this process, you guys are deeply appreciated.
So, on the said interview day, Feb 11th, 2020 to be precise, my interview was slated for 8:30am but I arrived very early, around 5:45am. By 6:30am, the security started checking people in. I naively gave my citizen wrist watch to my wife (who came around for the fifth and possibly last time to give me solidarity support during this interview process) to take home because I’ve read here where people say they don’t allow wrist watches or anything with metal (iron). For correction and for knowledge sake, they do allow normal watches but not ‘smart watches’.
So, after the security check-ins, a lady from window 21 ask for my passport, interview appointment letter, marriage and birth certificates. She took my finger prints but didn’t take pictures (passport photo) whi... read complete review

My now husband but then fiance had the best interview experience ever. He patiently waited as the elderly went first and others in queue thereafter. According to him, you can ever everyone's case because of how it is set up. He watched people get approved and denied for one reason to another. His interview, however, was only 2 minutes long!!! After reviewing his case, the while male agent only asked leading questions, which aren't even questions. The only real questions asked oh my fiance were the following: "How we meet?" and "Why didn't we get married when I visited last year?" The rest were just confirming my name, where I live and work ...and he was approved!!!!

Appointment was for 8:30 am for me and my family.
We got on the queue by 6:45 am and were ushered into the waiting area for security and pre-screening.
We entered the Embassy main building by 8 am. And went straight to the bio-metrics line, where our finger prints were captured (14 years and above only) and our original documents collected.
We were called up by the CO at 10:15 am
We took oaths
Finger printed again for everyone , the Kids were not , but I did for them.
CO initially refused my BC saying it is a letter from NPC and that I should get a letter with the heading " Attestation of Birth Certification" from NPC.
I insisted that this was what was issued to me by NPC and was used for my I-130, 12 years ago. He refused still ,and asked if I had any other documentation such as Baptismal card. I had but my Petitioner's name on it was slightly different so I did not produce it. I produced instead my Birth delivery card and first immuni... read complete review
