Hello u all on here, its a great relief to be able to comfortably write on here with a smile on my face and in my heart. I sincerely apologise for not coming on here earlier to do this , i assume most of you will understand my hysteria.
I know what is most consuming in the mind of people on here is to know how it went with me at the consulate on my interview date, well i will ease your anxiety with its details;
April 17th 2008: Did not sleep through the night because i live on the outskirts of a bordering town between Lagos and Ogun states. I got to the embassy at 5.50 am as my interview time was for 7.00 am . Had to wait for another 25 minutes before we was called onto a queue. Got into the embassy premises at 7.40 am and took a seat. The CO asked for pictures and emails and then asked how many times had I visited him and who paid for the trips. Then said that the visa would be ready after they get the medical results. which will be on the 13th of June.

Absolutely the worst embassy the US has. The interviewer would ask a question and excuse herself to ask other interviewers questions. At one point asked my husband what color my roof is...he has never been in this country. Put us on Administrative Review stating it would be 6 - 12 months. Well that was over 12 months ago and all they will tell me and my Senators is it is in processing.

I just want to use this opportunity to thank everybody who in one way or the other helped us through this arduous journey. Our interview was on the 8th of April 2008.

We came to the embassy very early like most others in the past have said they did. Those who were for the immigrant visas were attended first before other. I was very optimistic with my confidence in God, but about an hour later, i saw my wife come out of the embassy towards me with the baby in tow. She said the baby was hungry and since i was carring the food, they let her out to go and feed the baby.
Well, the drama began when they had to go back inside, the security idiots there refused to let her go in. Although she had a piece of blue paper. I went ballistic, the unfortunate theing was that I had previousl... read complete review
