Firstly, we would like to return all credit and glory to God who made this possible. Also, a big appreciation to the amazing suppourt and comradiere on this website. VJ Rocks!
Finacee got in and did all the regular embassy procedures. She was then called to the interview window shortly. She said the interview didn't last 6 mins!! To anyone reading this review and every other reviews, the most important thing you can do is to frontload all your stuffs beforehand. Frontloading takes the pressure off your fiancee because the CO would have had his "fill" of going thru the materials, hence there won't be a need for the CO to toughen up, "doti" and roughen up your fiance/e.
To those who don't know what that means, frontloading means basically submitting all EVIDENCES beforehand. (photos, rebtel records, moneygram copies, emails, printed text messages)You should submit all these alongside your initial I-129f application. USCIS then forwards it to Lagos.

My dear husband arrived on time for his interview, but was not approved because he forgot the album that had out pictures with other people and thus was asked to reschedule. He also stated that the CO who interviewed him and others before hi appeared to be very rude and was denying everyone who came to his window, whilst the other CO's were approving left right and center.
I was quite frustrated initially but at least he was denied, or deemed ineligible he just has to return with the documents he forgot the first time.

It's really ridiculous, or should I unbelievable but yet thankful to God and friend and most especially this forum for your encouragement and comprehensive information. I' m really so sorry and I use this opportunity to apologise for late review. No excuse at all but all the same was in my 3rd trimester.
I got to the venue 5.30 am, waited till 6.30am. At that time, we were called to que up and open every sealed envelops; medical reports inclusive( reason: anthrax). went into a secured open place for appointment verifications and inspection. Waited for another 30min.
We were escorted into the main building in fives by a security man or lady. Some were directed to the cashier's section to pay visa fees but I was directed to the interview room. Waited for another 20mins and my name was called.
Simple questions though
1. Name of petitioner
2. Where does he live?
3. What did he tell you about the weather there?
That was it. No parr tender... read complete review

My fiancee went to Lagos embassy on 11/15 and was approved then asked to pickup a Visa on 11/29. Two days after she received a call to send email to LagosIV@state.gov for appointment to submit affidavit 1-134 which she had but was not requested. She sent an email and receive interview date on 2/13/2012. Surprised, she went to enquiry at 1pm today 11/22/11 and her passport was given to her and asked to return on 2/13/2012.
I am dissapointed at the process in Lagos Embassy. I bought a ticket and made plans for wedding. She also resigned from her job in anticipation to leave on Dec 2. My question to members of VisaJourney is whether there is a recourse and has anyone experience this, how did they deal with it?
Meanwhile, thanks for all the contributors in this forum and the author of this incredible website/forum that has made the life of most people who are sincere much easy.

A relative of mine went to interview today; so I thought as a VJ member, I should share the information.
The husband arrived @ the embassy and went through the normal check in protocol.And the questions asked were as follows:
* who filed for you
* How did you meet
* Describe your wife
* How do you know she loves you? what proof do you have?( he pulled a card from her, the CO read it w/a smile)
*Do you love her(he pulled the book he wrote about her)
*where does she live
*what does she do?
*How do you communicate? Proofs?
In all the interview took about 15mins because he had all the documents to prove their real love.... phone records(1yr worth and highlighted the #s),rebtel, a book he wrote about his wife, pictures (traddy wedding/court) other pictures as well.
He was prepared and CO was satisfied....thereby granting his request "American reality..." E no easy for this America oooo. CONGRATS!
