My overall review is great.
I am the petitioner
Arrived 1/2 hour earlier 1:00pm waited outside in line with my fiance until 1:15pm when a lady arrived outside and checked if each person was on the list. Unfortunately we weren't on the list as well as another lady applying for k1 visa. So we waited outside until she checked inside. She said okay everything is fine now please open your sealed medical exams. What entered and went to security check. My fiance and I didn't bring anything expect the documents necesary for the interview. So the security check was very quick. Next we arrived at the waiting room where a lady organized all our documents in order and next went through another security check where we finally arrived to the waiting room for the visas. We waited till 2:55pm when we finally got called to window 2. A lady asked for all our documents and returned our documents that we sent to the California Center. I had a pretty good experience at the interview. It all went well.
Paperwork: We made sure we follow all the instructions on packet 4. Still, they asked for some additional documents that I was lucky I had with me: Beneficiary's birth certificate and beneficiary's copy of passport. They also needed to have the appointment page confirmation printed.
Process: I arrived at least 1/2 an hour before the interview to go through security. At security, I had to leave pretty much all my personal items including my cell phone. They asked me to open the sealed medical examinations envelope and to leave the medical examinations CD with them (No need to bring it to the interview). There were two stations where they checked my documents and placed them in order. At this point, I noticed other applicants missed having the DS160 confirmation page and the singleness certificate from the Central Registry (CSE located by Funeraria Monte de los Olivos). i was at the embassy so early my appointment was at 7:00 am i got in 6:45... my consul was so nice she asked me 3 questions , How we met , dates he visited me , his work, occupations and that was it. so easy she said your visa was approved i got out at 7:30 am so happy

Hello we just wanted to let u guys know that we were approved and that everything went very smooth with our interview it actually was better than what we were waiting, our interview was at 10:30 a.m. my fiancee was there with me.we got there a little bit late cuz of the traffic but we called them and they said there was no problem just to get there and explain to security what was the reason of why we were getting there a little late, only a few people were there that day what we went through security check super fast and they sent us to the sits and wait to be called to the window there was 4 people applying for K1 Visa including us we were the last couple to get there we were called to the first window where a nicaraguan nice lady asked us for the documents like the birth certificate and all the basics, then she asks us for my fiance tax return and supporting documents for that I 134 form, then she gave me a pamphlet that is information about the rights of immigrants in the United St... read complete review
