They asked my fiancé tons of questions and he was there for about one hour. HE said that he felt like she wanted to deny him and she would ask the same questions in a different way. I am in the military and there is no way to leave the US until 2010. Because I swear I would have done so a long time ago. She asked about my son, I think he gave good answers, and she asked him why marry an American and why not a Moroccan. He told her he loved me and that we had a lot in common. She asked what do you have in common, she asked him what was my favorite food? This lady I swear if I ever come across her I will deal with her. I am not sure if me being there would have helped. He said that he felt like she wanted to deny him when he first walked up to the window. In the end the she told him that we had not known each other for a long time and that how does he know I wear hijab. This embassy and the people that work there are garbage. I do not understand how she could find nothing b... read complete review

Okay Details, Details, Details!
He arrived at 7:40am for his 8:00am appointment. Approaching the Embassy he said there were many people waiting, at least 30-40 people outside. He went through a security check outside and then proceeded to an outside office that took his passport and the inviation to interview letter. This man was quiet friendly and they joked back and forth. This man then gave to my honey a small blue piece of paper that said he was there for the Lottery Visa, so he had to hand it back for a correction. After that he proceeded towards the inside of the Embassy where he then again had another security check. Passing through the machine and leaving behind his cell phone he then went to a counter to pay for the visa. The cost was 950DH, they took the small blue piece of paper, hole punched it, gave him a reciept for his payment and he went into the waiting room. He said there were even more people inside the waiting room. Total amount of people was 50-60. M... read complete review

Hicham informed me that the interview went well. It was scheduled for the morning of September 21, 2006. He said that he was interviewed by a very nice african american woman. She asked him questions about how we met, my name, my age, was i married before, how many kids i had and their ages, what i did for a living and for how long, if we planned to have children, and how was his english so good. After interview she said that he would recieve call next week because they had to do security check.

My fiance had his interview today in Casablanca. He said the woman that interviewed him was nice but he was supposed to have the interview in Arabic and she only did it in English and he had to have another woman translate. They asked how we met, how long we have known one another, how long I was married to my first husband, did we want children (when he said "yes" the woman said I seemed kind of old for that and he told her there is still time... that was a little insulting). They asked to see the pics of us together in Morocco and my fiance said they were smiling when they looked at them and then looked at them pretty closely. They asked what he would do if they reject the visa and he said he would "do" nothing but he would tell me and we would handle it from there. The interview was about ten minutes in total and they told him that they will call him in a week and they sent him away with a paper that said they are not rejecting the visa but they have to do some more procedural ch... read complete review
