Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My husband went to the window and the consular officer simply returned our photos and original documents, told my husband that we needed a co-sponsor and to come back with that whenever he had it. We tried one, and that co-sponsor didn't make enough either apparently.... (THIS PART WAS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!)
......but the following week we tried another co-sponsor and they accepted it in 4 days then several days later the VISA for my honey was in his hands!

Alhumduallah she did not have the blond hair lady. she asked her some general questions about our engagement. but when she my fiance answered she cut her off. after the interview she gave her a 221g form that said they didi not need anything further. after a few days the counsulate called asn told her to come. she went and had another interview. this interview lasted about 45 min. the asian lady interviewed her again. this time she let my fiance finish the answers to the questions. here are the questions she asked her.

My husband and I followed both the K3 and CR1 tracks. His first interview was with a blonde woman who tried to trick him on a few questions however he was able to answer everything. He said the most important thing was to remain calm and to be sure of your answers. At one point she asked him to tell everything I have done in my 29 years, and he corrected by saying my wife is only 26. The interview only lasted about 20 minutes and we were put into AP.

For the CR1 interview about 6 weeks later he had a woman with long black hair who was very nice with him. The interview took like 5-6 minutes and she asked typical questions, when.. how... where did you meet and tell me more about your wife. He told her things until she told him to stop.

Every person we spoke with at the consulate was very helpful and they respond quickly to e-mails. All in all, the Casablanca was very good for us.

He was called 2 weeks the CR1 interview to drop off h... read complete review

He arrived to his interview at 8am and waited until 11am to be interviewed. The interviewer was an asian lady, she was serious and didnt crack a smile she asked question about who I traveled with the first time and her questions were mainly based apon our freinds. He told her he waited a year for the interview and the questions should be about us then she redirected her questions to us. She asked about me my buisness and how we meet and how i spend my days and how much we are online togeather. She asked him what I liked about him and he said well he didnt know maybe it is his chin (joke) she didnt smaile laugh or anything. At the end of the interview she gave him a paper and said they would call him. The paper said he was inelegibale for a visa and the box that was checked said other and that they would review the evedence he submitted and call him.
