Review Topic: General Review

My fiance stated that there was alot of people in the embassy and he said the lady CO was friendly and straight forward to the point....my fiance had to get my 2015 W-2 so I emailed it to him right then and he turned it in at the document center for the embassy...I truly thank God for patience because this was kinda stressful. My fiance said the interview was easy and she asked about 7 questions.

Review Topic: K1 Visa

We were approved today for the K-1 Visa. My boyfriend arrived early at the Consulate. He delivered the papers in each spot required. We had a lot of documents and back up information- but he managed to bring them all. The black lady that everyone speaks of in visa journey - she started with the usual questions of Fiancé name, birthday, etc. She asked: where we met initially?- He answered OKC and that we both liked each others profile, and she asked what criteria he used to find me - he said white caucasian, age time frame etc. and kept asking about the criteria and if he stated a country - to which it was that no country was selected.
She asked if the had been out of Morocco? When he initially proposed? and that we didn't have a a big celebration in Morocco like its the usual - and he explained I am simple and I wanted to enjoy and get to know Morocco.
She also asked if he knew I had been married before ? When did I get divorced ? and the reason ? ... read complete review

IR-1 visa interview

My husband’s visa interview was scheduled for 8am. He arrived at the consulate at 7:30am, but they didn’t let anyone inside the consulate until 8am. The consulate took care of people requesting tourist visas before any other visa types.

(You can’t take a bag into the consulate with you, but if you do bring one with you, there’s a man in a green shirt close to the consulate who will hold your bag for you until you finish your interview and you pay him 2-5dh after your interview is finished and you leave the consulate.)

My husband says you will stay in the consulate for 4 or 5 hours, so make sure you take a book or something (you can’t have any electronics) with you. He printed some Sudoku off the computer and took them with him so he’d have something to keep him busy and take his mind off of things while he waited and he ended up being really happy he did that.

After... read complete review

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My husbands interview was at 8am on 8/17/16. He arrived at the consulate about 30 mins early. He showed his interview letter to the guard and was let across the street. He waited with others who were there for interviews as well. After he was allowed into the consulate he gave his passport and other papers to a Moroccan man. We were not required to pay any fees. He gave the affadavit of support paperwork to a female at another window when it was asked for. He then sat down and began the wait. Shortly before noon and after everyone else he had come in with was gone, a black female CO came to him and asked him what he was doing there. He told her that he was there for his CR1 interview. She began looking and realized that they had somehow misplaced his passport and had essentially forgotten about him. She told him to go eat some lunch and to come back at 2pm. After lunch, he waited a again, but only for about another hour. He was then called to a window where the same black female CO was... read complete review

This is the worst consulate in the world. People are extremely rude and no answers to anything.
