My husband's interview was scheduled for February 14, 2019. However, on February 13th, he received a call from the Consulate informing him that his interview was canceled and would be rescheduled at a later date. The following Monday, I called the Consulate 1st thing in the morning (their morning) & the man I spoke with said he would speak with the CO & then call my husband. He called my husband within the hour and gave him a new interview date & time. He told my husband March 5, 2019 at 10:30am. He e-mailed me the date and time of March 5th at 12:30pm. Obviously we were confused. We tried calling multiple times, we N E V E R got through.

On March 5, 2019 we went to the Consulate at 10am to inquire on the time. My husband was told to come back at 12:30pm, so he did. We had created a binder to present to the CO at the interview. The binder has divder tabs separating different sections, which are labeled as Civil Documents, Tax & Financial Forms, Tickets (all my plane tick... read complete review

My interview was on January 24th at 1pm, arrived 30min before, but let in the embassy at 1pm
I first gave my documents to a Moroccan officer consular, who made sure that i have the exact same documents we submitted at the NVC STAGE, he took all Originals such as : Beneficiary Birth certificate, marriage certificate, Police certificate, court record and Divorce decree, I864, W2 and IRS Transcript, he then asked me to wait to be called by US CO, that day we were only women and i was the last but one to pass, so i had the opportunity to hear a lot questions, i can tell 70% of people are not prepared can't answer basic questions or miss basic document (Pictures for example) ... everyone (i guess) was approved but asked to submit additional documentation.
My husband and i over prepared, we prepared a binder with 4 sections : 1st with all NVC DOCs / 2nd with I864 and financial document support/ 3rd with Evidence and 4th with Additional ... read complete review

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My husband had his CR1 interview Dec 18 2018. He was last in his session so heard all the other interviews. He stated about half the CR1 interviews were approved and the other half got the DS5535 or were missing documents or got AP.

My husband was interviewed by an older thin woman with white hair. He said it was more like a casual conversation than a question/answer session.

She asked how we met (what website) then how long we talked there before calling each other. She was reviewing the chat logs I had submitted during his interview and stated "I see from the chat logs you submitted that you want her to move to Morocco more than you going to the US?" He said it was true but since my son lives here I cannot move there so our plan is we will live here until he is older. She asked about each of our jobs and looked at photos from one of my trips to Morocco where I brought my son and said we were approved.

There were actually very few que... read complete review
