Although my husband had prepared binders full of evidence of our marriage, the officer did not request any. Our main problem with the consulate was that they nearly lost my husband's passport, which slowed down the time between the interview and provision of the visa. It ended up taking two weeks. Tip: if you have two passports, even if the officer says they only need your new one, give both!

Today I had my k1 visa interview in Chisinau. All the people at consulate were very kind and friendly. I waited about 10 minutes before officer invited me in the room for interview. He asked me a couple of questions :
1. How did we meet with my fiance
2. What is he doing, about his job
3. When and how we plan the wedding
4. Where are we going to live
5. When and how many times I was in US before
6. If my fiance visited me here in Moldova
and a few more easy questions  Then he said that my visa will be approved, and that my fiance will get email about how and where I will be able to pick it up.
Officer was very nice and not too serios, I even relaxed after the interview started

My daughter was granted B1/B2 visa while her immigrant case (my husband and me applied for her in 2013 but due to numerical number her case was put on " waiting list") has been detained at NVC. Nevertheless, we decided to apply for B1/B2 visa to visit us this summer. and we are happy !!!! she is coming ! According to her she had great experience at the US consulate. They are very nice to deal with. The interview was very pleasant and not stressful. ( i , her mother, was waiting outside of the Consulate.i went to Moldova to support her at her interview.

I had great experience at Moldova consulate. They were very VERY helpful!
AND i can add that my parents had their interview for visitor visa to visit me in the US which was just excellent .

My wife went to the interview they asked her couple questions:
1) When was the first time you saw your husband?
2) When did you get married?
3) What type of work does your husband do?
They also asked to see our pictures together. After that she got approved and visa got issued a day later. Very good experience.
