Everything was fine, people treat nice, incuding secure guards, long time of waiting inside the consulate for intreview, another thing I recomend people who needs glases bring it with you because you have to check out a white screan and if is a long time you have to be looking, your eyes gets kind of tired. First window you have to give paperwork including forms and financial info from your fiance, second window they will take some finger prints, and the last is the intreview, depend of the case on my case was fast the consular was pretty nice and didnt ask a lot. We got there at 8 and finished at 12 about 4 hours inside. This doesnt mean everybody is like that because I see a some people * same kind of visa that got there at the same time than us and went out first than me but I guess that depends of your luck!!. At the end is worth it

Very strict. Hubby had to go back more than once for approval.
Then they had to drive him to the border to get a paper stamped. It was weird.
Get their early and go with a friend who can wait in line for you.
Also, explore 2 medical clinics. Depends on what day but some are longer than others.
Guard papers well and plan on being there at least 2 or 3 days.

The medical and consulate interview process went smoothly for my wife and she was granted an IV.

We had our interview June 5,2009. The person who did the interview was very kind with my fiancee. Our Great and wonderful US Government computer system was down so they could not get her fingerprints processed. Three days later we are still waiting. I will update as soon as we know something possitive.
