Our visa was approved today!! We arrived in Juarez on Sunday, and we were approved by Tuesday 10:00 am. Obviously everyone has a different experience. We were very well prepared and perhaps a little lucky. I'll tell the story and try to include details that may help save time and frustration (and money). The other reviews on Visajourney have been extremely helpful to us. While here, we noticed several people were trying to prepare their documentation after arriving in Juarez. My advice is to do your homework, and come completely prepared with all the forms already filled out and printed.

I drove to El Paso on Saturday, stayed overnight, and parked my car in long-term parking at the El Paso airport ($4.50/day). I had American Shuttle ($65.00) 1-888-831-1321 pick me up at the parking lot and drive me across to the Juarez airport to pick up my fiancee. The driver was very helpful and safe and I highly recommend this service. The trip took about 45 minutes. When my... read complete review

Hi
We stayed 8 days in Ciudad Juarez. My visa was approved !!!The Consul just asked me some simple questions; easy to answer. I spent 4.30 hours at the Consulate. I waited for my visa 5 days. We stayed at the Quality Inn, nice hotel, kind staff. Everything there is overpriced, especially the taxi cabs, so be prepared with a lot of money to go there. We will soon drive up north and be married.

Other than the cold weather and waiting outside in it very early in the morning, all went very smooth. Flew in Sunday night. Was done with medical by 11am Monday. Done with Visa interview by 11am Tuesday. Received DHL package Wednesday. Flew out Thursday.

On monday, I walked accross the Birdge into Juarez, got a taxi, went to the airport, picked up my finacee, Then went to the Holiday Inn express, las misiones, it was really conviently located next to conoslate. She then waited in the infomation line for 4 hours to get the inivtaction letter. She got it around 12:00. So then we just hung out the rest of the day. Went to the mall across the street, ate at denny's and other close places. Tuesday we went to the clinca medica next to the consate, where while in line a lady pulled us out and got inot a new line to go the the old clinc. This was alot better, it is not near as busy. We got onto a bus they provied and drove over.
She said they sat ina room with everybody, drew blood then spearted the men and the women. Girl docotrs checked the girls and the guy docotrs checked the cys. she said then they took her xray, and sat in a room with just a hospital gown on. They checked everything really quick and asked her if she had taken dru... read complete review

Here are my fiance's comments in spanish, for both the medical and interview....I will say, stay at the Holiday Inn Las Misiones, close and convenient. Only downside was Juarez is not a safe place, plan to stay inside your hotel room 80% of the time.
