ACCOMMODATIONS:We arrived on an Interjet flight from Mexico City and took an airport taxi to La Quinta Inn for about 20$. La Quinta Inn is gated and off the main "Consulate Row". The street is still busy, but with the windows closed it is silent. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The beds are comfortable, flat screen TV, desk, wireless internet, tubs, mini-fridge and microwave, hairdryers, iron etc in every room. Breakfast is extended continental- cereal, yogurt, fruit, milk, juice, coffee, waffles, eggs, and beans. There is no lunch or dinner but many local places will deliver (Denny's, Papa John's Pizza, etc). The hotel has computers, printer, small gym, pool, laundry, parking and the free shuttle that will take you pretty much everywhere you will need to go. We booked on the laquinta website and paid $52 a night, which was well worth it. I highly recommend this hotel for this purpose.

This is from memory of what my fiancé told me each day as it happened.
FLIGHTS:
He arrived in Juarez on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010 using Aeromexico. He used Interjest for his return flight on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010. He recommends those flying within Mexico to take Interjet instead of Aeromexico, as they were nicer, cheaper and had better service.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
He stayed at the Hotel la Cuesta. They have $250 and $400 pesos a night rooms. Stay away from the 250 rooms though. This is an older, cheaper hotel, but the rooms for $400 pesos a night are downstairs, secure and clean. They gave him the room for only 3$00 pesos a night, since he was alone. It included WiFi, and they picked him up from the airport, drove him to the medical, took him to the consulate, drove him to pick up his Visa at DHL and even stopped for him to purchase his return plane ticket, and they drove him to the airport for his flight home. This was all free of charge... read complete review

Here is our experience:
MEDICAL EXAM
He arrived around 5:45am to the CMI clinic and got in line where they took his information and organized people into the line. He waited for about 20 minutes, then he was taken to a window where he showed the woman his interview invitation letter and passport (and any vaccine history), and he was then given his number (96). Then he waited 30 or 40 minutes in a covered area outside with seats for them to call his number. When they called his number, he went to the window and they asked to see his invitation letter again. The woman took down the information for our hotel, his name, and birthday as well. Then she told him to go inside and wait in another waiting room with about 10 other people. He was only there for about 2 minutes when a doctor came in and got all of the men. He was put in a separate room and told to take his shirt off, and they then took him to have his chest x-ray done. Then he was put in another smal... read complete review
