These reviews were so helpful to my fiancé and I when preparing for his interview that I really wanted to take the time to post one as well. I did not attend the interview, but I will recount my fiancé's experience at the interview in Ciudad Juarez. I decided not to attend due to the high expense and the fact that I would not be able to go in with him to any of the appointments, and the fact that I was a little wary of crossing the border from El Paso to Juarez myself (it is way cheaper to fly from anywhere in the US to El Paso and cross than to fly to CDJ directly).
My fiancé flew from Mexico City to Ciudad Juarez on a Sunday. He arrived Sunday evening and took a taxi to Hotel Ibis, which is ideally located a few steps from the medical clinics and the consulate. He spent some time scoping out the area, where the ACS office was, etc. He went over to the mall across the street which he said was cool. He went to bed early since he had the medical exam early the next day... read complete review

First of all thanks to all VJ members because all your experience worked for us Thank God we were approved yesterday so I'm gonna tell you all our experience in Consulado de Juarez.
Saturday september 17: My boyfriend took a taxi from El Paso Airport to Ibis hotel in Juarez for 60 dlls he said there was quick because just 4 cars were before his taxi waiting in line to cross the border but the other side (crossing from mexico to usa) it was a long line. I took a taxi from Juarez Airport to Ibis hotel for 20dlls (245 pesos) everything was pretty safe nice people but anyways don't trust anyone keep your information with you you"ll never know.
At the hotel we had a problem with a/c it was 26C inside the room! so we asked for another room and after 1 hour they gave us an other one 17C. We really don't wanted to go out but we were starving so decided to go to Applebee's (inside of Plaza Misiones Liverpool) and took a taxi from Ibis to the mall for 30 pesos but it was really clo... read complete review

I got approved yesterday at Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Unlike most of the K1'ers I had the advantage of being based in CDJ, so I don't have a review of the hotels and transportation systems (but I do recommend that you use the hotel shuttles and airport taxi cabs and stick close to the consulate). Hope my review is helpful.
1)Medical
There are two clinics that conduct the Medical examination in CDJ, and they are located within a block of one another. When you arrive there, the coyotes will try to flag you down, whether you are driving or walking, and get you to "register" at an office located across the street. I saw a lot of people fall for that, and I also noticed that the cabs and shuttles seemed wise to the coyotes, so try to use them if possible. Don't fall into traps, you DO NOT need to register anywhere before you take your medical.
I got there at 5:30 and walked to Servicios Medicos, the clinic with the blue and white lettering, because... read complete review
