first of all thanks to visajourney.com. i could not have done it without them. we flew to ciudad juarez on sunday. payed 245 pesos for a taxi to bring us to la quinta hotel. i chose this hotel because it has a shuttle, free breakfast and a gate.
Monday- Medical exam. i went around 7:40 am to the embassy to get the letter. they were able to print it for me. it took about 1 hour and a half i suggest you go there earlier. then we went to the clinica. once you start heading over there the coyotes will pound at you like wolfes. you will see them wearing badges. and they will ask you questions. just ignore them dont go into the rooms they send you to...

We flew via Vivaaerobus from Mexico City to Ciudad Juarez and arrived Oct 7, Sunday morning. Vivaaerobus seems to be the least expensive airline if you need to fly to Cd Juarez. It’s pretty much no frills, but the flight was good, no problems. From the airport, we took a taxi to the La Quinta Hotel near the Consulate. It was really cold that morning and we couldn’t figure out where the local bus stopped. You can take a bus to the hotels around “Consulate” area for 24 pesos (you have to change buses twice) or taxi for 250 pesos. We had made a reservation at La Quinta and although check in time is for 3pm, they were wonderful about getting us into our room by 10am and told us to help ourselves to some breakfast while we were waiting. Breakfast is free, and was great as far as we were concerned. They had fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, hot foods, which consisted of fresh waffles, eggs, frijoles with another hot dish which varied from day to day, juices, coffee, tea, sweet breads, an... read complete review

First off, we had to take a bus from Tijuana to Cd. Juarez. Not fun, but it was a quarter of the price for plane tickets ($385 for both of us round trip compared to $1,200 for both of us round trip for airfare).
We stayed at La Quinta. We got a good rate, $47 a night. I really like this service because the hotel was very nice, the room was clean and comfortable, and they provided transportation. When I say provided transportation, I mean they took us anywhere within 10 km of the hotel for free whenever we wanted. Except for the initial taxi cab ride to get to the hotel, we didn't pay a dime on taxis. They took us to the Medical, ASC, and Consulate for the interview, took us to restaurants for lunch & dinner. We saved a lot of money because of that. Breakfast was also included, usually a variation of eggs, beans, quesadillas and waffles. Not the greatest, but it was good enough.
Medical appointment. No problem. She was pregnant, no tattoos or anything. She ... read complete review

I wanna tell you all about Juarez experience.
First of all, my love and I made our appointment on august 10th,after we paid for visa procesing and we just found free dates until first days of october... so we had plenty of time to make arrangements for flight, hotel and documents.
Now.... i get juarez airport through viva aerobus flight... was ok, and was so nervous that nothing else matter. We had reservation on Ibis hotel, so i got there super early but they actually let me check-in 6 hours before.
CAS
My first appontment was on CAS, it was really fast. I got there at seven, but i had app until 8, was one of the first of that day, it took just 30 minutes. You have to pass a little security check and after that you get to a desk where they ask you for only 4 papers: consulate invitation, appointment confirmation, ds260 confirmation and passport. You wait a little and they call you to a window where they take papers and after a little chec... read complete review
