Overall very good process. My husband lives in Cd. Juarez and went in for CR1 interview but just didn't like the wait which he was mentally prepared for. He got there at 9:15am. His appointment was scheduled for 10:15am and was out by 11:10 am. He described that officials there move in from one room to another. Eventually there is a seating area, half of the seats were colored green and the other colored black. He was directed to black seating area where he waited the majority of time until he was called. The Consulate official was a younger girl and was nice.
He handed in:
Medical Exam
Original Birth certificate
Original Marriage License
Mexican Passport
He was asked these questions:
Oath: Put up your right and promise that you will say the truth only the truth and nothing more than the truth
Do you have tourist visa?
-Yes. He did and turned it in to officer.

Hi -
Hugo flew to Ciudad Juarez from Mexico City after taking an overnight bus from Cuernavaca.
Luckily, a week earlier he was able to complete the ASC and the medical in Mexico City and 6 days later was taking the flight to Juarez.
He stayed at the Ibis hotel. Great location, minutes from the consulate and a huge mall and many inexpensive food choices.
The taxi from the airport cost approximately $15 USD for a 15 minute ride and the fare had to be purchased at a desk inside the arrivals area of the airport.
The hotel was inexpensive and even though he arrived at 0830 local, he did not get his room until 1600 local. A long day in the lobby playing with his iphone.
The next morning, with his appointment at 0815, he left the hotel at 0800 with plenty of time to spare.

We arrive in Juarez Sunday the 23rd..we flew to el paso, Texas and cross over the bridge by foot where we were met by the gentleman who was renting out a room for us at his house he only he charged us $25 a day and we gave him $100 for gas money since he drove us everywhere we wanted to go...early Monday morning we had my husband's medical at 6am he went in got his documents checked and got his wristband he was moved to a next set of chairs where they did an eye test after they moved him to another set of chairs one of the clinic staff members escorted them to the next building I was able to come along...there they drew blood first then they sent them to the x-ray tech and to an exam room they checked for tattoos and asked to drop his undies to the floor they turn off the lights and light you with a UV light to check for things that can't be seen in regular light...then they ask you to get dressed and go on to the vaccines it varies by age group my husband is in the 31 to 50 so he got ... read complete review

This consulate is pretty relaxed and overall good. My fiance got approved even though I am a college student who is not working. This is because my parents submitted an affidavit of support (One for me, one for them) and they made a note that they will support us until we are on our own feet.
The Juarez consulate WILL ask the fiance to bring 2 passport-sized photos taken within the past 6 months. My fiance didn't bring those, but they let him run to a local store and have his photo taken and printed. Luckily! But try to be prepared. You will need to bring EVERYthing.
The medical exam was done right near the consulate at 1 of the 3 clinics. They're all within walking distance from each other. It's super easy to get an appointment. He missed his first appointment due to an issue we ran into, but they gave him another right away. He had to fly into Juarez for all of this since he lives far away from the consulate.
