Completed ASC and Medical Appts in Mexico City. Arrived CDJ Consulate 9:45 am for 10:15 am appt and was allowed in with no wait. Was back out on the street at 11:30 am. Spouse could not go in. Note that the "waiting area" outside for family members is no longer open -- under construction perhaps -- but not open now as of this writing (July, 2018). The corner right beside the entrance, in front of the Extra/Circle K (convenience store) has more shade in the morning, but the shade starts to decrease quickly and by noon there is none. Our recommendation (when it's 104 degrees F as it was), since the applicant cannot enter with a cell phone, is to agree on a meeting place (FYI if you are staying at a nearby hotel, that may make the best meeting place; otherwise, Wendy's is a quarter of a block away, Starbuck's is a half block away and across the street; both are good options. Or, what we did was agree that the spouse would come back to the corner by the Extra every hour and wait for... read complete review

My fiancee is from Mexico City so she was able to do her medical and ASC interview in Mexico City.

The medical exam went well in Mexico City. We got there at about 7am and everything was ready for pick up by 2pm. Be careful because even if you have your vaccinations they will try to get more money out of you by making you get a few vaccines anyways. Just make sure not to open the black package with your results! It is a very fragile plastic package and would be very easy to open.

She then had her ASC appointment in Mexico City as well and it was very easy. She said it took probably 10 minutes to get everything done.

My fiancee had her interview on a friday here in Juarez. I flew into El Paso on Thursday and my Fiancee flew into Ciudad Juarez on the same day. We went to the hotel, got checked in and spent the day double checking every document. Also her interview was originally scheduled for August 2nd but we constantly checked and were able... read complete review

My husbands interview was scheduled for June 22 in Juarez and his medical appointment for June 20th so it tuns out that during his medical appointment they found a spot on his chest ex rays, they think Tb which I’am positive that he does not have tuberculosis, anyway they cancelled his consular interview now we have to wait till August 30 to hear what the medical results is and then 2 more weeks for the medical result to be send to the consulate and then the consulate will call us and schedule another interview, I’am wondering has anyone been trough something like this before? Because I’am not sure what to expect now

The interview was quick. Normal questions maybe 5 or 6: When did we meet, what did I do in Mexico, when did we get married (looked back to husband's date in previous divorce decree and naturalization certificate), and I don't remember anything else, but those were the basic ones.
Someone had thrown up (eww I know) due to being nervous, I guess.
I had a massive packet of information, documents, photos, so much stuff! all organized in my folder. He did not care and did not ask for anything. Was more interested in shuffling the papers we had already submitted. All in all, it was not pleasant but not rude. Pretty average.
