My husband's interview was on 12/28/18. We have been married 7 years so IR category, he has DACA, a few arrests, and was in removal proceedings but was granted voluntary departure to pursue consular processing. We arrived to Juarez on 12/26/18 around 7 pm so all we did was go to our hotel that night. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express; it was a very pleasant stay everything is very clean, free breakfast, computer access, and transportation available. The driver is very nice there.
The morning of the 27th we went to his medical exam, he had an appointment at 6 am at Clinica Medica Internacional, we started lining up around 5:30 am. We were there about 2.5-3 hours. He had to do an eye exam, blood, psychological exam, and had to get several immunizations. It was over $400 for the exam.
After the medical, we ate breakfast at the hotel and then the driver there took us to the Fiscalia for the Carta no Antecedentes Penales. It was super empty so we were in and out in less t... read complete review

Just a quick summary of my experience, hope someone can find this helpful. Just to give a little perspective for my case I was brought to the United states at the age of 2 and have never been deported, left the country , had trouble with the law or any previous marriages. So my case ,I felt, was pretty straight forward.
We drove from Fresno California to El Paso Texas and crossed over on December 27th and stayed at the Consulado Inn and booked it through expedia until January 5th. If we need additonal days there hotel will honor our expedia price. The price was 35 dollars a night, which was a really good deal compared to the prices for other hotels around. I advise to book in advance through a website because our hotel was 55 dollars a night if booked at the hotel. It's a decent hotel, again my wife and I chose this one because we know we are on business not vacation. The consulate and medical clinics are less than 10 minutes walking but all hotels offer free tran... read complete review

My fiancé had his appointment December 7 in Ciudad Juárez and was approved!
For those wondering, we received notification from the consulate on October the 3rd and were able to schedule our interview for December 7th. There may have been a cancellation because it was the only appointment available for all of December.
He had his medical and biometrics appointments in Mexico City, since he is a respondent there. Both of the appointments are in offices on Hamburgo, which is convenient to the city center.
For the appointment in Juarez, we flew from CDMX on Thursday (we flew viva aerobus, and don’t recommend them). We stayed at the Microtel and were very happy with the suite. The location is great since it’s on the same side of the street as the consulate.
There is a mall across the street with a Cinépolis, so we went there Thursday night to help keep our mind off the interview.
On Friday morn... read complete review

Finance's appointment was at 8:45am. A lot of people already in line but she entered quick. She passed through security and was given a ticket number. She was then directed to another section where she presented her documents. She then was told to take a seat and wait. Waited for a long time for her interview. Fortunately her visa was approved. She came out of the consulate at 3:00pm.
