Husband had his interview on monday the 22nd
At 8:15 am. We showed up at 7:30 and he was in by 7:40 went to the first window and handed in his medical results birth certificate and marriage certificate.
He was given a number and was directed to sit at the green chairs. After waiting over an hour he was instructed to walk to a line and wait to be called. He was finally called and was asked the following questions
-who is your petitioner?
-what is your relationship with the petitioner?
-when did you get married?
-what year did you meet?
How many times does she come to mexico to see you?
-do you have pictures? (Luckily he did)
-she asked for 2018 taxes
-who is (his moms name)? He said his mom
-What are you going to do if you get into the united states?
Congratulations your visa has been approved he was given a green sheet of instructions to receive his visa and we were back in our guest house by 10:30 am

Hello😊,
We got the Embassy appointment for my K1 and K2 visas at Ciudad Juárez today July 2 2019, appointment was really easy and a good and nice experience... I’m taking my kids with me with K2 visas and couldn’t find anywhere information on what should I take to embassy for them... so I took with me custody papers and many many papers and wasn’t asked for anything.
They put a lot of attention on the affidavit of support and all the papers which prove that my fiancé could be able to pay for me and my kids and we will not be a charge for the country.
They gave us back all our original documents, even the pictures I sent with the I 129 F.
And we had an approved visa in about 3 hours. The consul was even a very nice person .
Not many questions just basic ones like names, address where your fiancé lives, they asked how we met, for how long, how many times have we seen each other, if I knew he was married before etc.... read complete review

Review Topic: K1 Visa

We arrived at Ciudad Juarez on Sunday June 23, stayed at IBIS hotel for the proximity to our appointments. Had our bio metrics on Mon 06/28 at 2:45, just a 10 minute walk form hotel. We had Medical on Tues 06/25 at 3:30, this was just a 5 minute walk. We had Wed 06/26 "off" Our interview was on Thurs 06/27 at 8:30am was out by 10:45.
-In my fiance's opinion, she had a very pleasant interview officer, interview lasted no more than 5 minutes
-Weather was very hot, warmest day was 105 and lowest was 94
-There is a mall down the street from the consulate (shopping, restaurants, movie theater)
-There are also numerous restaurants in the area (Dennys, Wendy's, McDonald's, Starbucks)
-Security is at a maximum around the clock, very safe in the area
-CDJ Airport is approx 20 minutes away
-ELP Airport is also approx 30 minutes (times may vary depending on line at border crossing)

The interview process was really smooth. People start lining up at around 6am. The whole process at the consulate is easy and they let you know very clearly where you need to go next in the 3-step consulate interview process.
