Alfredo went to his visa appt. well prepared. He had a folder full of stuff that he could possibly need. Although when he got there, there were alot of people that had close to nothing, expecting to get a fiance visa, and they did.
This is a list of all the stuff that was required.
1) Alfredo's invitation letter
2) My I-134,
along with my moms and my step dads
3) DS-156 filled out, NOT SIGNED (2 copies)
4) DS-156K filled out, NOT SIGNED (2 copies)
5) DS-157 filled out, (2 copies)
6) CDJ-402 filled out, NOT SIGNED (2 copies)
7) Alfredo's passport pictures
8) Proof of relationship

Here is my fiance’s experience in Ciudad Juarez. I translated it into English and then it’s in Spanish second. We found people’s experiences and advice invaluable when preparing for the interview, so I hope this helps someone!

The first day I arrived, I stayed at Hotel Los Cedros that’s about 10 minutes walking from the consulate.
The next day when I had to go to my medican exam, I went to the clinic that’s nexts to the consulate (the other clinic is in front of the consulate, but I saw that the other one took more time for people to enter). You have to make a line, and I got there at 6:30 AM, but there are people there much earlier. In the entrance there is a person who makes sure that you have your passport and the invitation letter from the consulate. Juarez is a crazy place. Most of the applicants there have been living illegally in the US and are becoming permanent residents through marriage, or are parents of citizens or permanent residents and have been petitioned by their children, so the experience there is probably different from most consulates in the world. If you are simple marriage-based applicants who are going through the process the standard way, your case is relatively uncommon for this consulate! That should mean a quick and easy treatment at the consulate.
LODGING
I'll make a quick plug for Hotel Colonial. It's pretty nice, great staff, free continental breakfast, free shuttle rides to the consulate at 6am and 7am. They have three small swimming pools, wireless internet (although it works best in the lobby rather than the rooms), and a few computers available, too. we arrived in juarez on sept. 1 2008, we went to the medical the next day on the 2nd around 9 in the morning, picked up our results that same day around 4 p.m. Everything went really well and smooth until our interview day which was on thursday the 4th at 6:45 a.m, we arrived at 6:20 and the guard let my wife in around that time. so I went across the street and waited for her luckily for me I didnt have to pay for a chair I just got there and sat down on one of the chairs cause the women who was sitting there suddenly left and didnt notify the owners who rented them out. I waited for like five hours and around 11 am. my wife came out but when I saw her she was sad and she nodde her head from across the street.
