Once you enter the gate and passes security we were given a file and 2 amazing lady helping us to gather our documents needed in the file ,mostly make sure everything needed was in. Then they let you inside we( my son and i) were 3rd in the line , once it we were called at the window , an amazing lady take all required documents from us , when she asked for my fiancé divorce degree ,I gave her the original one which is a lot a pages and she asked for a copy which I thought she asked for all the pages I told her I don't have copy of it ,she smile and said she will be back shortly with a copy and came back with a copy of the front page ,I couldn't stopped myself from laughing as I did had that copy on me that make her laugh too she has been very helpful. We arrived to the Consulate around 12:15, our appointment was at 1:30. The consulate is directly across the street from Sandton City (a big shopping center), he told us we could either go across and hangout and come back right at 1:30 or we could sit on the benches and wait. My son had his interview today. They checked all the original docs. Then he was asked to raise his right hand and confirm that everything in these docs were true. He was approved but was asked to send his passport by DHL to the embassy after his return to his Mauritius. They gave him back his original documents too.

Long waiting at the Nairobi Consulate almost 3 hr. They just asked me how often do I communicate with my daughter? They wanted some pics of me and my daughter which unfortunately I did not bring to the interview.I got an A.P as they wanted to check on my previous stay in US but my visa was issued after one week.
