My fiance arrived about half an hour before his interview. He went through the first security checkpoint where they check you to make sure you're not bring anything in, then secondary security where they ask to see your passport and appointment letter. Then security sent him to the counter where he was asked basic questions like
What's your email address and phone number
Have you ever been married
Has she ever been married
What's her job
Then they gave him a slip with all the required documents to be put in a certain order and was told to go to take a seat to wait for the interview. He waited there about 1.5-2 hours when he was called up to meet with the officer.
He was asked just a few questions:
How did you meet?
Have either of you been married before?
What are the dates for her first and second trip?
What's her job?
He looked only at our pictures and said Welcome to... read complete review

My fiancé's appointment was set for 10am. He went in at 8:30, they said to come back at 9:30am but they let him in anyway right away.
He had to show his passport at the first counter, then DS-160 confirmation at the other counter. They asked for his interview appointment email confirmation and a photocopy of his passport and said this was required. This was not shown in the required documents in the packet so make sure you bring them!!
He was given a checklist of required documents so he can order them properly. His appointment came last so he went in for his interview at 11:30am. It lasted exactly 10 minutes. The lady consular was very nice. He had to first give his pledge and got his fingerprints taken. He was asked several questions, but they were easy for the most part. He said there was another immigration desk clerk who asked him more detailed questions (e.g. where my dad works, what he does etc...) Questions he was asked by the consular officer:... read complete review

My fiance said the Interview day went smoothly. I'll go step by step from what he explained.
His interview was scheduled at 10 AM, he arrived around 9:30. He went through security and they took the interview appointment email from him. He then walked up to a window desk(similar to a bank) they are behind a window, you give them everything you have, they go through them, take what they need and open the medical sealed envelope and return whatever papers he need for the interview(photos, proof of relationship, etc). they asked him few questions along the way.
He then sits and waits with other people that were there before him, he waited maybe half hour, they called his name to go back to the window and they took fingerprints and then he sat and waited another half hour until they called him to the interview. He walked into a private room, where there was someone sitting behind a window as well, an older guy behind a computer. He had him do an Oath and sa... read complete review

My husband had his interview on November 16,2017 after waiting 11 months for the whole process to take place. Once arriving to his interview he waited only 30 minutes after check in to be seen by the interviewing officer. He said she was very nice and what seemed to be understanding. She asked him how we met, what kind of car I drive, and where do I work. She also asked him about his criminal record since he had a fight on his record from 12 years ago. She asked him to bring in further documentation pertaining to the fight. My husband asked her does that mean I am denied she said no of course not just bring in what I ask and I will contact you. My husband provided them all the further documentation and was emailed of his approval December 28.
