we sent I-129F on Dec 9th and got NOA1 a week after that day.
having been waiting for NOA2 though my case status shows the same " initial review"!!
really really want our NOA2!!

My visa interview experience
Since other members already mentioned about the whole visa procedure when you get to the embassy I want to say what were the interview questions and any other tip which i hope helps people to get more prepared to this day.
Questions were pretty straightforward but I guess it depends on the consul mine was very professional, no tricky questions, very nice but I can tell he asked me a lot of questions. Of course I was prepared and thanks to other VJ members I successfully passed without problems.
Questions were as follow:
Who is the petitioner?
How did you meet him?
When was that?
When was the first encounter?
So did you meet him here or in the States?
What does he do?
Where does he work?
When are you planning to get married?
When are you planning to enter the US?
Do you have any wedding arrangements?

First of all, LONG WAIT!! I was the 2nd one there, but maybe I didn't pick up my number fast enough (they have the same system as some of banks in Japan or social security office in the US), or maybe I went to bathroom too often (I went there in June, but it was really cold there!!), or because they were reviewing my documents longer than everybody else as I have been in the US with F1 visa also, but at the end, I was a ZOMBIE!! I think I left there around 3 hours later or so.
On the other hand, the interview itself was pretty smooth. There were 3 stages of interviews for me. (In other word, they call my number 3 times.)
1.It was a while ago, so I don't remember well, but I think this was when they took all the prepared documents. They asked me if I have a F1 visa from previous stay also. I did have one, so I showed that to them. Don't remember if I gave a photocopy or F1 visa itself and then they took a photocopy. My appointment was at 9:30 but I got there after 8am.
Make sure to bring two passport style photos even when you have submitted
two photos to the NVC. You can take photos inside of the embassy
but it costs 1000yen.
When they call the number, the number called appears on the screen, but after the first call, they often only call the number. Even though the announcement is in both English and Japanese, they only say the booth number in Japanese.
Questions asked at the first window (when submitting documents):
Where he lives
What he does
Who the joint sponsor is (since we have one)
When I intend to go to the States
Questions asked at the interview:
When we got married
How and when we met
Where I stay in the States
The whole process took less than two hours.
