My fiance' had his interview in JA and was not granted a visa. He was not denied and was not given a slip of any sort with the reason for the wait. After emailing the embassy several times, I was told that we would undergo administrative processing and would be notified upon completion. That was misinformation as all the while, the petition was being returned to the U.S. to be reviewed again. During this time, the visa expired and there is no other alternative but to reapply. My advice is to obtain a document before leaving your respective consulate to avoid this type of runaround.

BECAUSE I HAD MY BABY THEY CALLED ME TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE AND GAVE ME MY NUMBER AND A YELLOW SLIP OF PAPER AND TELL ME TO GO TO THE RIGHT, ONCE WE GOT INSIDE WE WAITED ABOUT 5 MINUTES BEFORE OUR NUMBER WAS CALLED, SO WE WENT UP TO THE WINDOW WHERE THERE WAS A JAMAICAN LADY WITH A STINKING ATTITUDE ASKING THAT I SIGN THE DS156 FORMS FOR MYSELF AND MY SONS AND PUT EVERYBODY'S PAPERS IN THEIR OWN PASSPORTS. SO I PUT THE FORMS AND PICS IN THE PASSPORTS AND THEN SHE ASKED FOR THE POLICE REPORT. I ASKED IF I SHOULD PUT THE NON IMPEDIMENT AND OTHER STUFF AND SHE ANGRILY SAID I SAID EVERYTHING SO I JUST STARTED PUSHING EVERYTHING UNDER THE WINDOW. My sweetie says he got there at at about 7:30/8am for his 9:30 interview. When he got there there was a guy from the Embassy that took his forms and organized them properly and stapled two of his pictures and the visa voucher to the DS 156. Then he went through security similar to airport security. Next he got his number and handed over his appointment letter to a worker. Then he was told to sit and wait in the immigrant visa section.

He was called to a window by a Jamaicain lady that checked off that he had all his documents and he also did his biometric finger prints. Then he sat and waitied for his number to be called for his interview. The wait was about an hour. It was packed in the waiting area, had to wait for others to get up for their interview to find a seat.

Finally called for his interview and first he had to complete Part 2 of the DS-230. Then he was sword in and asked the following questions:

How long have I known my fiancee?<... read complete review
