My fiance had a 9am interview today (6/26/15) and had an overall good experience. He arrived 20 mins early and it took him a little over 4hrs to get thru everything. The officer asked him where I worked, my age, his age, how we met, and where I live. She also looked at the pictures while she was asking the questions. He said that she was very nice and the interview was only a few minutes. She said that they will contact him when the passport gets sent out. He was already registered with DHL and opted to pick it up from the DHL office and not have it delivered to the house.

Arrive at embassy at 7:15am spend 10 minute in my car talking to my husband. Went to join the lines security lady check my appointment letter. Went through security checkpoint. Went to another security who told me to go to the left. When through another checkpoint they took my appointment letter and give me a number then I went inside and took a seat. About some min after 8 my number was called I did my finger print and the lady took my medical. She ask who was filing for me and what's my cell number.
I sit down and wait about 2hrs before my name was called while I was there I could hear other being interviewed there was one tough counselor at window 9 she ask for everything you could ask for with interview lasting 10-15 min. I pray I didn't get her. LOL
Anyway the counselor ask:
Who was filing for me?
Where did I get married?
Why did I get married in Jamaica?
If my mother came to the wedding?
If my husband have kids?<... read complete review

My fiance and I arrived at the embassy at 9:45am. I did not carry any electronics in the event that I was asked to come inside. My fiance brought the overflowing 3-ring binder of evidence I created with a beautiful photo of us slipped into the sleeve on the front and back. An officer outside approached us and asked what time our appointment was, I responded "10am," and he gestured to in line.
I asked if I could go with my fiance and he said yes and I WAS ABLE TO ACCOMPANY HIM ALL THE WAY INTO THE INTERVIEW ROOM!
The majority of the seats were empty in the waiting area. We sat together toward the back, but each time he was called to a window a moved to a seat to be closer to him. <3
He was called up 2 times: 1st to submit all of the required information. 2nd for the interview. The interview lasted under 2 minutes, and he was not asked for any evidence of our ongoing relationship. The officer was a very nice woman. She asked him 3 ques... read complete review

Had a good experience at the US Embassy in Kingston. We arrived at 9 for 9:30 appointment. Wait was not long at all to get in the Embassy. We had no issues at all. The first woman at the window was very matter of fact. Let me have this document, that document, I need the original.. We gave her what she asked for and then was told to have a seat and wait to be called again.
The second call we went to window and the CO was very pleasant, nice, and personable. She only asked 3 questions about his previous stay in the US, and our previous filed Petititon.
She addressed our concerns about getting the passport back, due to a trip we had already planned for July, and gave us instructions for him to obtain it if he hasn't received it by then.
It was very nerve wracking, but all in all was a good experience.
Everyone was very helpful and courteous during the process.
We were in and out in an hour.

Interview: I arrived late but thankfully everything still worked out as planned. There was a system failure that morning so there was a long line outside. After about an hour though, we finally were able to go in, no electronics or cosmetics (ladies) permitted.
There was other people waiting inside the courtyard but my appointment was at 7 so they sent me straight into where the counters were. After about nearly another hour the systems came back on and they started calling numbers. First you go to one counter to confirm who you are and ask who's filing for you and such, minor things. The first lady was really intense, I thought that was the interview but it wasn't. Then I had to wait again for the ACTUAL interview which was conducted by another lady, you have to listen for your name. I don't remember how long I waited in between because I dozed off since I didn't get much sleep that night. Anyway, then I heard my name being called and I went to the window and she will you to r... read complete review
