Good afternoon VJ fam,
My fiancé and his son had their interviews today and was APPROVED yayyyyyyyy….. They arrived about an hour early, paid someone to hold his phone and waited…. He said he already spotted who he’d rather meet with and happen to get him … some questions asked to him were my name, if he’s ever been out of the country, Do I have children, what are their ages and names and what I did for a living… the only question asked to his son (who is 15) is how old are you … he said then the guy told him congratulations you are approved…. We are sooo excited…. I guess the waiting game now begins for delivery of the Visas…… Have a great weekend VJ family

My fiancé had her interview today at 9am. She was home by 11:15 am.
She said the process went well. The biometrics person was vey nice. All the docs on the checklist is what the woman asked for. As far as tax stuff, They took my w2s, my 2015 1040 tax return form, and my 2014 tax transcript.
My fiancé then went and got interviewed. Took about 5 mins. She said he interviewer wasn't really pleasant. She just asked my fiancé how we met, how long she has lived in Jamaica (she used to live in us as well), she asked where were we in the pics she showed her. My fiancé said the interviewer did not ask much about the relationship. We were prepared nevertheless, had a whole heap of relationship evidence in the binder she took wit her. The interviewer typed most of the time. She then told my fiancé that our visa app has been approved. Said it should take about 2 weeks to get back (let's hope).

I arrived at the time the interview was scheduled 7:30. I waited in the outside line until about 8:05 to get inside the building. Once inside I was directed to the immigrant applicants section where I had a seat. After about 20 minutes I was directed to a window where my birth certificate was taken along with my photos. Then back to sit. About 15 minutes later my name was called for fingerprinting.
After that I was seated until about 10 exactly when my name was called. I took the oath then these questions
"How long are you married"
"where did you met"
"how long ago you met"
When did you became a couple"
Then she looked at one of our wedding pics that was taken in
Hope Gardens.
"You took pictures in Hope Gardens?"
"I like going there to chill"
"Does your wife has a garden at her home?"
"I have everything I need you will receive your passport within 2 weeks"
& like that I was appproved

My experience at my interview went very well. Leading up to my interview date was nerve racking starting from my medical a week before my interview date. Everyone I encountered at my medical was great. They were very helpful from the securities to the doctors. On the day of my interview I got there a half hour early and was shown in after being searched. I was moved to the front of the line and seated while waiting. The kicker is I applied for my visa the year before and was denied by the same lady that interviewed me for my K1 visa. I was nervous when I went up to her but she ask me my first question "Whats my fiance name?" And I answered and that was it. I just start answering questions and chatting like I was chatting to my siblings lol. I didnt even know when my interview ended.
