My interview was on the 3rd. 8:30 appointment.
I arrived on time. We were told to line up outside while they checked our documents (IL, passports and photos are to be presented.

Inside we go thru security clearance. An as per usual no prohibited stuff as y'all know. I had to make contact afterwards so i went prepared to pay the $500. For them to keep my phone

Inside er, immediately outside the embassy we are
given a number and and wait for it to be called. It took
about 30 mins to be called into the embassy then more waiting

My husband's interview was at 7:00. He was there until about 12:00. After he went through the formalities of the paperwork to get in and the fingerprints, he was told to have a seat and wait for his name to be called. He had a male consular officer. And these are the questions he was asked:

Who's filing for you?
If I have any children?
How old is my daughter?
How many times have I come to Jamaica?
How we met?
He asked for pictures of me and husband
He showed my husband pics that I sent with the petition and asked him who were the people in them. (Some were me with his family and a few of one of my friends who visited once with me with his family)

He had my husband sign a selective service registration form. He kept a copy and gave my husband a copy and told him to mail it in when he comes over.

He told my husband to make sure he's registered for DHL and once they receive the medical, it may take 1-... read complete review

My appointment at the Kingston Embassy was for 7:00. I reach there around 6:45 or so,line wasn't long though. I was asked for the appointment letter, passport and pictures with name written on the back.I made pass security, make sure u dont have wear any belts and have certain items with u.I followed where everyone was going, made it to a desk where we hand in our appointment letter, only front page, got my number and went inside to sit....long story short did fingerprinting two times, first one when submitting any other documents then actual interview.
Questions asked
Who's filing for u?
Name of the person filing for u?
Do ur dad and step mom live together?
What is the occupation for ur dad and step mom?
How often u saw ur dad?
When last did u see him?
How long has he been married?
And so

I answered to my best knowledge...apparently I need to submit tax return for my step mom so he wrote up on the white paper sa... read complete review

My fiancé had a 9:30 aopt. he arrive 1hr prior and the entire process commenced by 11:39am. He stated the counselor only asked 5 simple questions; 3 about me i.e. Where I work, what does he love about me etc. then our wedding plans. The entire interview was filled with smiles and laughter, he jokingly said he wanted to stay longer and chat about our love story even after she stated he got approved. We are just soo blessed and happy this part of our Journey is over FYI BE sure to carry $5-800 JA dollars just in case you need someone to secure your belongings outside the embassy for example a cell phone
