So here goes my review.....

It was myself, my daughter (she's 5) and my father in law. We got there at 9 for our 9:30 appointment. Had to leave phones outside as no electronics are allowed inside. I checked my bag thoroughly and joined the line. We were close to front. When I finally got to the entrance..our bags were checked and for some reason my pocketbac hand sanitizer was inside on of my bag pockets. I had to exit, get rid of it and rejoin the line....ended up at the back 😑

Once we were in, our documents were checked and we were directed to the section for immigrant visas. Our numbers were then called to do fingerprints, the lady collected our original documents, copies, pictures and passport. She then asked:

Who's filing for You?
What's the relationship?
Have you ever travelled outside the country?

We then sat back down and waited for our names to be called for the interview. We ended up bei... read complete review

So my fiance had his interview on Monday July 24th. He had his interview with a female whom he reported was very pleasant. I prepared a soft cover binder with plastic insert document page protectors and had every document he needed. The interviewer told him it was the most complete, professional file she had ever seen. She asked questions about our dialogue (and an argument we had) over whatsapp (I had printed out about two months worth of conversation)She also asked him to tell her when & where pictures were taken. He reported that she asked him if he was going back to St. Maarten to work and he said NO! I want to go to the states and get married She also gave him a document that outlined his rights should he want to divorce and again he said NO! VISA APPROVED. It was a pleasure dealing with the Embassy in Jamaica and it really does pay to have a complete documented file

Review Topic: Waiver/Admin Review

My husband with for his first interview and was denied and given instruction to apply for a 601 waiver for inadmissible due to a CIMT . We knew of the simple Larceny charge which was 16years old and understood it would fall under the exception rule because he never served any jail time and nor was he fined. The simple case had a monetary value of less the $200 USD. He was convinced to plead guilty to a charge he didn't commit because his family could not afford the legal fees it would take to fight the issue before a judge. After reading things I felt it was a 60/40 shot that we wouldn't have to file a waiver. We lost the gamble but it allowed me the time I needed to collect the money for the $930 fee. The waiver won't be easy to complete as you have to show more than the average cause of hardship. However he is in Jamaica which is a country trying to build itself but is decades behind the USA in healthcare, jobs, etc. Most are struggling farmers. So providing the necessary in... read complete review

My Fiance just completed his interview. He was excited to tell me that he was approved and that the interview lasted roughly 10 minutes. His appointment time was 10am but he arrived an hour early. He ended up seeing the white male officer who he said was very nice. The officer asked How long did you know her? 9yrs
How did we meet? through a friend
How long have we been together? 2yrs
Where does your fiancé live? he gave my city an state
How many times does she comes to see you? every 3 to 4 months
What does your fiancé do for a living? he gave my profession
Does your son know her daughter? He said yes they speak on imo to each other.

Then the officer smiled and stated ok Mr. Turner have a nice life with your wife. My fiancé said thank you, and sat there and the officer stated did you need anything else? You are approved, my fiancé said he did not know whether to laugh or cry, and said thank you. javascript:em... read complete review

My fiancé said this time he had a great experience at Kingston embassy this morning at 10am.. he says he was very nervous and couldn't wait to get the interview over with so he can get something to eat..the interviewer was very nice to him and said to him you come from a good parish.. after he whispered something to another interviewer & said to him he is approved, my fiancé said he cried tears of joy and he thanked him & God.. the interviewer said to him best of luck in the states & that he hopes everything works out good for us..the questions that were asked were:

Who Is filing for you?
What is your fiancé name?
How did you meet your fiancé? Full details
What is the state that your fiancé lives in?
Do you (the beneficiary) have a criminal record?
How many times your fiancé came to visit? (Exact dates)
Where was the proposal? Give full details
