SPOUSES ARE ALLOWED. We had an 8:30 AM appointment we got there around 6 AM they called people into the line based on their appointment time. you cannot bring any food items water lipstick make up lotion cell phones electronics anything like that in to the building. we were there from 8 AM to 12:30 PM we got a real nice lady she asked us how we met gave her her story so this showed her our pictures. Then her smile turned into a look of concern as she read something from my husbands file then she asked him has anyone else ever file for you before he said no she said are you sure again he said no then she asked about his other relatives that have been filed for before after making some notes into the computer she stamped his folder gave him a piece of paper about his rights when he reaches the US and then told us to give them abt two days to straighten out the misunderstanding for my husband has a common name Therefore he may be mixed up with someone else with the same name and date of... read complete review

My son and I got to the location at 7:10 am for our 7:30 appointment. After the routine screening we entered the embassy building at about 7:35 am. We were directed to a line where our passports were checked and our appointment confirmed. I was elated to see a familiar face at that desk. javascript:emoticon('') I was issued a number and instructed to sit on the inside at the immigrant section. My number was called around 8:15 am. When I got to the counter the CO and I exchanged greetings. He collected the necessary civil documents and my finger prints. I was told to return to my seat until I was called again. I was called back at about 9:15 am. My interview was sucessful and IV for my son and I were approved. We were out of the embassy at 9:45 am.javascript:emoticon('')javascript:emoticon('')

My husband had his interview on Nov 6. He got a very friendly young woman (late 20s, early 30s he thinks), whom was very welcoming. Questions she asked were...

1. Who is the people on this conversation? (Referring to a WhatsApp screenshot)

2. When was my first trip there?

3. When did we get married?

4. How many times have I visited?

5. When was the last time I visited?

6. Where did we get married?

7. How old is my daughter?

8. How did we meet?

As my husband answered questions, he would include a bit of a back story and the interviewer always gave him a good. She ended with "I wish you all the best!" with another smile as she stamped the papers.

Got there early, I told him to leave everything at home! So entering the embassy was a smooth process. He waited for at least a hour and half until his name was called. He told me he was nervous because the officer who had interviewed him had denied every single last person who came to her window that morning. Of course, that’s who he gets as his interviewer 🙄. But he handled it well. Questions she asked:

Where does she live?
What does she do?

She then looked through our pictures and asked him how did he realize so quick. He replied, “thats the love of my life and I want to spend the rest of my life with her.” She smiled and told him he was approved ☺️☺️

WHEW!!!!

Interview was at 7 for both me and my mother in-law. We arrive about 10 mins early. We jointed the line. They ask for passport and interview. We passed through the check point then went straight in. They ask for the DS-260 and gave me a form to fill out for the courier service with number attached to it.
Went inside the building and sat and waited to go to the first window. That wait was probably for 10 minutes. I went up to the first window told her good morning with a big smile she asked for original copies and also photocopies of birth certificate, marriage certificate and police record. She then asked for transcript.

Waited for another 15 minutes then went to the second window. She asked me:

1. When we got married?
2. How we met?
3. When we got engaged?
4. Ask if I brought pics. I said yes asked about one with me and him and our son.
She asked who is the little boy. Told her he's our son.
5. Asked when was... read complete review
