We arrived at about 8:15 for our 8:30 interview time. While outside in line a woman checked our paper work and made sure everything was filled out properly(BE SURE AND HAVE PEN!!).She made sure we were on the list, asked for copy of ds 156, ds-156k, ds-157 (both copies)and passport photos, the paid visa fee receipt. She then stapled passport photos to the forms that required it. We then were told to go to another line that was still outside the front of embassy (short wait). Eric and I then were told to enter the building. We went through the security line. That was when the nerves really hit me. The man told us to put everything in the basket then wait to go through metal detector. After we gathered all of our belongings, we went to another line outside. There another woman came to check our paper work and we just waited to proceed inside the building. They were letting 5 people in at a time. That wait wasn't that long either. Now we are finally inside the building, snaked around the ... read complete review

Orville and I had an appointment on November 18 at 9:30am. We arrived at that time and were told to proceed into the embassy after the woman in front took the pictures and passports from us. She told my fiance to sign his name to the back of the photos and then we entered the embassy. We were given our number and proceeded to section A where we sat in the back row. We had our 2 year old daughter with us and she kept us quite entertained while we waited to be called to the window.
First we were called to a window where a very friendly Jamaican woman took all of our paperwork. She wanted the 156,156k,157, and the I134. I explained to her that I made enough money with my child support included and brought supporting evidence to that but I also had a co-sponsor. She took mine as well as my co-sponsors evidence. She handed back papers as she went that she did not need. She had a years worth of my pay stubs but only took three of them...the most recent. She thanked me for being org... read complete review

This is what I got out of him so far.
He went through security and then he went to a lady who checked his paper work. She only took my Info and the DS156,156k, 157, No Imped and Police Cert. He went and got his fingerprints then sat down until they called his name.
Questions:
1) Were you ever married before?
2) Where did you meet your fiancé?
3) Have you ever met any of her family?
4) How many times have I been to JA?
5) How did we communicate?
Congrats and welcome to America Mr. Brown. They did not look at any pics.
