This was the longest time we have ever waited. My husband has been here as of December 2023. Im glad to say it’s relieving and that we can finally live our lives. For those still in the process, make your husband or wife abstains from marijuana or even alcohol for at least 6 months before you do medical or interview because when they ask your spouse that question, it will come from truth than embellishments. I pray all of you get through without dealing with that 1 year ban. It’s more like 18 months.

My interview went okay. Information is Just the same as every body else’s here. Was asked 20+ questions.
Please note tho…. If your appointment is 1, do not go too earlier than 1. They won’t let you in until that time. 1pm interviews are for persons on filing so they definitely won’t let you in until 1.
In addition to this, if you are able to do the medical before the interview that would be amazing. If no dates are available at Andrews until after then it’s fine, but your process will be severely delayed. If you have your blue immunization health card that says you are fully immunized, take the card to a health institution and compare it to the list of vaccines you will need to enter the US and take those vaccines before you actually do the medical. Three of the vaccines I realized that most persons had to take at the medical that is not on your vaccination card are TDAP, vaccine for influenza and vaccine for chicken pox. Most of us had to get ... read complete review

It was a good experience for my fiancé all the questions we went over was asked and it lasted abt 5 to 10 mins. At the time of this post the medical is delayed and will not be ready by the time the interview is here. So not sure when we will be approved officially but for now we have to wait.

K1-We arrived at the Embassy in Kingston an hour early at noon. There were people across the street who would hold our phones for a small fee.
We could not sit on the benches or be on the property until 12:55. At about 1:00 a line formed, there were about twenty people ahead of us. Once we were checked in, we were directed across a courtyard to the interview building. We sat down at about 1:20.
After about a twenty-five-minute wait we were called up for the interview. We were asked the following:
1. How long have we been together
2. How many times have I visited Jamaica (the interviewer was impressed with the number of times I had been; which led to asking what I did for a living... I said IT he said oh, that's why)
3. Has my fiance been to the USA
Our interview was about 10 minutes; we were given a letter to provide an Impediment form and police record. Our interview agent was very nice and wished us luck.
Now, g... read complete review
