Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Medical passed very smoothly (15, June)- they need only passport, vaccine passport and the number of 260 form. They take pics inside so you don't need yours any more. We were only few people so within 2h everything was done. The fee is 220e
Interview was a nice experience as well (16, June), they did not question much, I had everything prepared and more about the past and the future. Took a bit of time to wait because my nvc was expedited and documents came all scattered as the consular said. So that wait time was a bit stressful. All in all besides the wait time my interview lasted like 10-15min. Docs they asked - was 864, marriage certificate, divorce certificate, police certificates, birth certificate and 260 form.
They do not give medical papers back any more, they send everything on their own. We have to pay for green card before entering the country. The consular provided the link to pay.

In Italy it works that only the embassy of Naples release the K1 visas, and when you book the interview through their website, they automatically book the medical the day before the interview itself.
The medical is done at a clinic called Varelli and it costs 220 euros.

Here’s my experience of the medical - Naples Italy - 11.02.2020

I’ve booked the cab the night before with the app FreeNow that worked perfectly. I get at Varelli very early in the morning around 6.40 because even though they say the appointment is at 8am, it’s better getting there early, in fact I was the number 2 of the line. After a little wait they start to call you in a room where they take your passport and start to fill some forms on their computer.
Then new wait, and another lady called me into another room where she took out my blood (you don’t need to fast btw) and gave me a little cup for the urine sample. In Italy they only check for sex... read complete review

Review Topic: Direct Consular Filing

Hopefully this review will help some of you.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience.

Location:
Both the doctor’s office and consulate were easy to find and offered parking (for those arriving by car).

Medical visit:
Everyone at Istituto Varelli was very friendly and upbeat. We were in and out in about 2 hours.
My husband’s visit was the standard €220. If you need vaccinations, you'll pay additional fees. If it's flu season, you'll be required to get the flu-shot.

-Have your vaccination record with you. You can get your vaccination records from your local ASL or doctor.
-When entering the doctor’s office, it’s best to arrive as early as possible. My husband and I arrived at 7:00 a.m. and were let in right away.
-Don’t forget to locate the number machine and to push ‘’C’... read complete review
