Appointment went very smoothly. 2 hours of waiting, but only 5 minutes for the interview itself.
Got the DHL package back today with the passport but without the famous sealed envelope that is supposed to be given to the Immigration Officer when entering the USA for the first time. What’s up with that? Anybody know? Do they still do that? Something changed?

The experience was better than what I expected. The medical examination took from 7 am to 11:30 am. I arrived at 6:30 am. The people working there were friendly but it was a little chaotic ( problems with the electricity, the computers etc).
Even if they give you a precise time for the interview, the order is going to be based on the time of arrival in front of consulate. I was the third and I finished everything around 10 am. The interview lasted 5 minutes, the officer asked me how and when I met my husband, if I’ve ever been in the USA and if yes with what visa, how long was my longest stay. Then the lady told me that I was approved and that in 3/5 days I was going to receive my passport back. My experience at the consulate was positive, the people working there are kind and nice. The next day I came back home in Turin and the passport was already delivered to me.

The treatment was average, not too kind, but fair enough. They didn't ask me for most of the supporting documents I had prepared. While my medical appointment experience was very positive, well organized a quick. The consulate experience was ok, but it took me 4 hours.

Make sure to have all your paperwork ready. The interview was about 30 mins and they asked so many questions and asked to see all the paperwork. It was not so easy and smooth.
