it was a crappy experience, but i was approved at last! the person interviewing me was reading from another person's application and my answers did not match of course. he was a dumb interviewer, we did k1 and he was saying that I married my wife few years ago! and I kept saying no, he said you should apply for a married visa not k1, I did not know what to say at that time he started saying that i was lying for that! asked him that I wanna see the application that he was reading from and I could not believe that he is saying what he is saying, He turned the monitor towards me and it was a surprise! he was reading from someone who had the same first name as me!!!!!!! what!!??? are you serious!!! what a fool. He did not even look at my wife's name!! after that everything changed I was the boss at that time, he just went through the papers and said that I was approved and he was sorry for all of that crap! I received my VISA 2 weeks after. just a tip for anyone interviewing in baghdad. b... read complete review

It took my husband only two hours for the whole interview process to be complete. He said it was fairly easy. They asked him how we met. He shared some of the documents that they hadn't requested from him before and that was that. Pretty simple and friendly experience.

My husband had his visa interview on October 8, 2015. Since then the status has not changed from "Administrative Processing" , but the date has changed several times: October 12, 14, 15; November 3; December 16, 17 & 18. They did not take my husband's passport at the interview and they told him they would email him when they were ready for him to send it to them and it could be anywhere from 14 but not more than 60 days...If you don't count weekends and holidays it has been more than 60 days already but Thank God today we got the email for my husband to DHL his passport to them to receive the visa!!!

My husband was very nervous but people told us it was easy.
We brought all the required documents and about 150 pictures of us together. We previosuly lived together for two years before I came here few months ago.
They asked him:
Who filled for u
How did u meet
When the first time u saw here
What do u want to do in USA
Spouses mothers name
Where does ur spouse work
How do u communicate
What do u want to do in USA
What do u study
Names of ur brothers and sisters
Emails and phone numbers
And thats it.
