Well, on the day interview which was early in the morning we went to the Embassy with my fiancée, I showed my passport to the guard and he let both of us in very fast, after security we got a number and sat for 4 hours until they called our number.
Both of us went to the window, the CO asked me if I the petitioner, which I said “yes” he said, thank you for coming but please have a seat!!!
He asked my fiancée:
When is the last time you saw him?
What is his favorite food?
How long you know him?
What does he do? (Work)
What do you do? Is it a Gov. job in Iran? (She said no – the truth)
What did you study in Iran?
CO had a copy of our engagement album and he went through it with her and asked about photos, that who is this, who is that!!! And then he said, nice place!!! Then he gave back all our photos, emails, bank statements, Tax ... read complete review

Heres how our day went...
First off, when we arrived at Dubai we rented a car, which I think was a good idea if you want to see the city during your stay and (if you can also buy a map before hand... none of the places in the airport had a map)
Woke up later than we would have liked (2 hours later)... (6:30 AM)... left for Abu Dhabi (which is 2 1/2 hours away from where we were staying)... our appointment was at 10:00... we were a tiny bit lost when we arrived so a police car literally took us to where we had to go. We arrived at 9:45, showed the guy outside our appointment letter and my husband's passport. We walked into a second room where they took all car keys, mobile phones, and cameras...everything else we were able to take inside. We then proceeded to a room with benches in it... where we were sitting with a number of other people. After 5 min, a man came in and told everyone to proceed to the other building. We then went over to the first counter which was... read complete review

Questioned asked during the interview:
How did you meet?
Why did you decide to get married?
Who are your parents?
Who are his parents?
How many brothers and sisters do you have?
How many brothers and sisters does he have?
and then the same questions seperately were asked of my husband.

MY HUSBAND'S APPLICATION WAS TEMPORARILY REFUSED ON JANUARY OF 2008 AND REQUIRED THAT WE SUBMIT ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: I-134, EMPLOYMENT LETTER, 2007 TAX RETURNS, AND W2S ( EVEN THOUGH THE CO-SPONSOR MADE $72,000).
MAILED DOCUMENTS IN DECEMBER 9, 2008. I EMAILED AND MAILED REQUESTS FOR STATUS SEVERAL TIMES AND FINALLY THEY REPLIED VIA EMAIL ON JANUARY 21, 2009, STATING THAT THEY HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED THE DOCUMENTS AND THAT THEY NEEDED THE I-864.
I MAILED DOCUMENTS AGAIN ON FEBRUARY 13, 2009, AND HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEIR OFFICE
HOW DO I GET STATUS ON MY CASE? WHAT DO I DO?
