Interview went well, not many questions asked but how we meet, have I ever lived in The US (overstayed my tourist visa for 4 years before) did we live together while we were in The State, what is my job and where we are going to stay in The US. The security guards were very nice. My fiance joined me during the interview since he has lived in Indonesia for the past 9 years just to be with me (I am so lucky). We were worried a little bit about he is not making enough money here in indonesia and we both will have no jobs when we arrive in The US and we do not have a co-sponsor, but we do have some savings and my fiance own property in The US. They did ask him what he is going to do when we arrive. Then congratulations your visa has been approved. What a day after this long time. The interviewer did say that we are the first case in our situation that have been together the longest one (14 amazing years). There was a couple in front of us like us and I think he got approved too. Other cou... read complete review

me and my fiance arrived half hour before the interview. The guard was nice and let me and my fiance get in after she read my appointment letter(via email). We waited for another 30 minutes before the lady on window 5 called my name and asked the requirements. I forget to bring my original birth certificate (silly me) but she said that was fine. I need to submit later when i approved.
The interview!
It took about 7 minutes. The guy who interviewed me asked me questions while he typed on his computer. He gave me a paper to submit my original birth certificate and my fiance newest paystub. He said i can come either on Monday or Friday. We submit on Friday and we got white slip -->my mom help me to bring the document on Friday since me and my fiance was on holiday
Anyway, my mom need to pick up the visa on 3rd. They are not sent the visa to my address;we have to pick up at the embassy.
There is no bad experience on my... read complete review

Interview was easy. No hard questions. Just usual, where met, how met, where you
Going to live in states. Did not go in with the wife. Stepdaughter was not interviewed. Both wife and stepdaughter were sworn in and fingerprinted. Operation was smooth, people were nice and up front. I was issued AP due to a no space in between my wifes middle name. Once this was changed resubmit and wait, still in AP waiting for embassy to verify name change, then they said both IV's will kick into Issued status. Embassy very helpful, but make sure your paperwork is straight, something as simple as a space can throw you off! Will update once I get the issued status!

Even though my interview was scheduled at 12.30, but my fiance and I arrived 2,5 hours earlier. I did not want to take a risk missed my an appointment because of traffic in Jakarta at worst when raining all day.
My fiance was disappointed we had waited for 2,5 hours outside while raining seems never end. But I've already told him about that and he said the embassy could've something where people can go there take a shelter. I just was worried about my medical result got wet.
The female security guard suggested go to get some coffee or eat something. But I told her, I won't go anywhere. There was a poor guy they did not let him in just because he was late 5 minutes from his actual appointment. I insisted will stay around the embassy. She then told us go to below train bridge for a shelter. Not too far from the gate which my fiance and I agreed to go.
Finally, they allowed us go inside. The other security guard female asked my an appointment ... read complete review
